It's all according to when you go and how they feel for your food to be right and your service to be good. Also they are NOT OPEN 24 HRS. If I order food and I'm paying you to be my waitress and you want your TIP that you THINK you deserve then WAIT ON ME don't walk by and me have to hold my glass in the sky to get more drink or have plates on the table that can be taken that need to cleaned off for room on the table that are stacked for you to start with. I've waitressed a time or two in my life and loved it. I'm not the most social or out going person but when I waitressed I always talked to my customers, smiled, asked how their day was, and made sure their glass was never half empty. It was always full unless they said no more. I still today will stack my plates and glasses and sit them on the edge to be picked up a sign that the customer wants them gone for most people that are waitresses should know or been one in their lifetime this is a sign cause we do it the same way for the bustperson. It is a hard job but treat the customer with respect and you will get respect in the end you never know that person could of jusy list a loved one and that silk or how are you today McAfee then feel up and proud. I know this is a long review but DO Y'ALLS JOB AND STOP WANTING A TIP FOR...
Read moreNever again. It was my first visit to a Huddle House and I was terribly disappointed. First, we waited almost an hour for our food and while longer waits on a Sunday after church are expected, at the very least, we should expect a correct order. I ordered one of the biscuit plates with apple smoked bacon. It was supposed to have cheese on it and it was even noted on our receipt, but didn't. My cheese wasn't an extra so not sure what happened. My friend's meal was inedible. The grease-saturated, overcooked hash browns were hard as a rock and you could pick them up like a hockey puck. Weird thing was, the "slice" of out of the wrapper cheese wouldn't even melt. He couldn't eat it and refused a replacement and settled for the waffle that came with the meal. You would think that the restaurant would have comped his whole meal for the long wait and inedible food, but still charged us $1.99 for the waffle and $1.99 for his tea. If you want a good breakfast, go to Waffle House. Save yourself some...
Read moreHorrible horrible service! We came after a soccer game and arrived about 6:45. We had to have had the worst waitress possible. She took forever to take several tables orders. Another waitress took one of her tables orders because she was taking so long. She finally took our order only to find out that half the stuff our table wanted they were out of. My husband was very upset. One of the guest at our table asked for coffee and when it was brought he didn't get offered sugar or creamer. When something was said to the waitress she blamed someone else for not getting it for him. I had to ask for a refill on my water. After arriving at around 6:45 we did not leave after getting our food until around 8:45. Again I say horrible horrible service. If I come back it will be a VERY long time. Also another waitress blamed our table and one other table for the hold up in the kitchen (yet our food wasn't even being cooked at the time) to another table. That is a big no no when working in...
