DOTORI Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Johns Creek

We visited for the first time last weekend and have been talking about going back almost daily since. I had one of their strawberry cream-filled donuts (i cannot remember the official name) and it was DELICIOUS. my husband got a savory pastry with pepperoni and also said it was great. We tried each of their signature coffees and those were incredible too. Even more importantly, the owners were so attentive and kind and clearly passionate about their work and the service they provide. They gave my daughter an extra cookie and sent us home with a free sandwich to try (which they noted they baked the bread for that morning at 3am!). My husband ate it later for lunch and said verbatim that it was “the best sandwich I’ve ever had.” I believe it was a crab salad. They have TONS and tons of selections of pastries, sweets, drinks, sandwiches, everything. We could try something different for probably an entire year before we got through everything on their menu!

I really enjoy the food at this place, but I've noticed the attitude of the employees isn't the best. For instance, when I ordered a iced caramel cream latte, I found that it was mostly milk with just a thin layer of coffee foam on top. This was quite different from the picture they had provided of the iced caramel cream latte, which showed a generous amount of whipped coffee. When I politely asked them to add more coffee, they weren't very accommodating. One of the employees even suggested that they should charge me an extra $1.50 for the additional coffee, which I found to be quite unreasonable and condescending. Considering that the drink was already priced at $6.50 for such a small size, and the majority of it was milk, it seemed excessive. Korean-style bakery with a variety of pastries and drinks. The atmosphere is clean, with pure whites, marble, light wood accents, and subtle pops of fresh greenery. Although the cafe is small, the high ceilings give it an open and spacious feeling. Things you should know: I.
