Fox's Pizza Den — Restaurant in Johnson City

We are newer to the area and was tired of the typical chain pizza and decided to try Fox's Pizza. Hubby was extra hungry and can usually polish off an entire XL pizza - we got the XL deluxe and added pineapple for an extra dollar plus change, we also got a Lg 2 topping pizza with a coupon. I usually ask for lite cheese and lite sauce but didn't do it, since it was my first order I wanted to see what the pizza's "usual" looked like. We also got a 2 liter drink and bread sticks for an extra 5 bucks.

Now, here's the kicker, in the ten years my hubby and I have been together, he's always, always, eaten entire huge pizzas and this time he said the pizza was not only delish but he couldn't finish the XL pizza! Not that it looks any larger than other pizza's he's had but we think that it was the freshness of the pizza and the quality. In our humble opinion when a food item is made well, your body doesn't continue to fill yourself up and not feel full. We were happy that there was very little oil blotches on the pizza box - meaning we weren't being filled with fatty oil.

The mushroom and olive pizza I got was also perfectly cooked and just right on the sauce and the cheese. This was also the first time in my life that I've had left over pizza sticks (bread) that was still great tasting cold and the next day. Usually you can't eat it the next day because it's so dry and hard - you have to throw it out. Not at Fox's Pizza Den - it's worth it to pay a little more than the big chain pizza shops - the quality is great and taste is awesome and if you have left overs - we highly recommend buying larger pizzas to have left overs! Tastes great cold the next day and again, not oily.

See this response to my previous review, this is exactly what I am talking about. You ignored what the problem is and you did not bother to resolve it, instead, you tried to justify your employee's incompetent. I would not be surprised if it was actually you that we spoke to on the phone. I clearly stated in previous review that we spoke to the manager over the phone. He heard us CLEARLY and responded to our complaint by lying to us. There was extremely thin tomato sauce on those pizza delivered, as I am starting at those awfully thinly sauced pizza right front of me, I told manager that we specifically requested extra tomato sauce by online ordered which was typed down CLEARLY! The MANAGER on the phone said that he personally made the pizza himself and there's extra sauce on these pizza, that is flat out LIE! There is not even regular amount of sauce on these pizza!!!! You try to justify phone call rudeness by saying it was so loud in there, really? I have been there in your store so frequently, I bet if you could look up your orders history in last two years, you would notice that I bought your pizza repeatedly than any person in this whole town! It's rather quiet in there, noisy environments would have irritated me extremely because my hearing aids are sensitive to that. You are so full of it! I wonder if you're corporation are aware of this. You just lost your regular customer, I have never seen such embarrassing fake apology like yours! What part of "customer is always right" do you not understand? I would not hesitate to let everyone I know about how you handle...

First time ordering from Fox’s Pizza. Got the Deluxe and Extreme Pepperoni, Breadsticks, and Buffalo Wings. Both pizzas were delicious, as well as the breadsticks. The wings were good, just a little overcooked, but still enjoyable. Only wish they had a garlic butter dipping sauce for breadsticks, but that’s just a personal preference. My order was delivered ahead of schedule, hot and fresh. Delivery driver was very friendly and professional. Will definitely order from them again. Sooo much better than chain brands.

Update to previous review I was asked by Foxes to provide a review and they would send a 50% discount voucher. I stand by review, as everything I stated above is true and correct. However, I was never sent a voucher after following all their instructions. This is also the case on their website, where it tells you to input an email address and they will send you coupons. I did that over a month ago. Still no coupons. So as far as the pizza and delivery service, top notch. As far as making promises and falling through, a big, fat zero. I would have given them a great review regardless of the promise of a 50% off voucher. What I don’t like is being misled, being promised something they have no intention of delivering on. So I have to question their business tactics and integrity here. Not sure I will order again based on this.
