I thought all day about whether or not I should post. I have never been to this place before, rode by it last week while out on my motorcycle, and stopped there today while running errands. It was jam packed but decided to give my name to hostess. I was asked if I wouldn't mind waiting for a seat at the bar? I've had back surgery and high chairs at a bar is not the best seating option. I replied that I would wait for the first available as I could see a couple booths being cleaned off. I sat down to wait and 2 elderly women entered and tried to give their name but the hostess took them right in and brought them to one of the 2 booths that just opened. I stood up and went to the podium and asked if I should have brought a stranger in with me to be seated faster? The hostess apologized and stated they aren't allowed to seat one guest at a booth.
So even though there was now a second small booth open I was expected to wait for a seat at the bar to open up.
I understand businesses are allowed to make their own rules however I feel I should have been told that when leaving my name instead of waiting 10 minutes and having 2 people, who just walked in, be seated first.
Realizing that even though there was another booth opening and that I was still expected to wait for a seat at the bar I told the hostess she could remove my name from the list as I wasn't willing to wait. She asked if I was sure? I said yes no worries.
Not being from the area I took a right and was looking for somewhere else, even considering lunch instead, when I came upon The Griddle Breakfast & Lunch and decided to go in. The hostess asked if I had a preference for seating? I pointed to a booth in the corner and asked if that one was OK? She said absolutely! See my review on them in a...

Read moreWhen I got there at 8 in the morning, the place was half empty. Gave my name and asked a table for 5. We were 3 at the time. Me, my wife and my 15 year old Son. They could not seat us at the table, having coffee and wait for the other 2 which were on their way and, would be there in 20 to 30 minuts but at the same time, the seated a customer which was waiting for a party of 11 people!!! I called the manager and asked why the difference between me with my family and the family of 11 who had to wait at the table for each other? She said, it was because they were going there every weekend!!!! What? I couldn't believe in what I was hearing. Bisides, in the meanwhile I was waiting outside the dining area waiting for my Son and girlfriend, if the place would get full. I had to keep waiting but now would be for a table!! Fifteen minuts after I talked with the manager, my Son arrived. But I was alredy not interested in spending my money there. Instead, I went inside and outloud said that the place was and is a disgrace. They humiliate us, discriminated us, and served favouritism. Never again I will put my feet there. If they think they are the only ones in business, theyr...
