Fresco Cranston — Restaurant in Cranston

Ourselves and our guests are still raving over our experience at my sister's retirement party last Saturday night. We were in the private room. From the moment we arrived until we left (somewhat after closing time with not one person asking us to leave!) our experience was OUTSTANDING. Our 2 young servers, Allie and Ben (who was training but you would never know it!) provided exceptional service for 25 people and they DID NOT miss a beat throughout the evening. They were pleasant, energetic, courteous, engaging, and extremely professional. They did not make 1 error throughout the evening. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the meals, the servings were ample and oh so delicious! The prices were beyond reasonable with a choice of appetizers and 4 entrees (we preselected the appetizers and entrees). Everyone had leftovers! The manager, Bill, could not have been more accommodating. He was super flexible and allowed us to bring cakes in without charging a cutting fee which is highly unusual. My sisters and I had our mothers 80th surprise birthday dinner last night at Frescos in Cranston. The room was extremely small and beyond warm! The waitress Corey was horrible! She kept rolling her eyes, forgetting drinks, taking way too long to bring us our drinks and then messed up on a few bills because she was rolling her eyes and wasn’t paying attention to the details of who was on what bill.. besides that I ordered Rigatoni Bolognese which was basically pasta in a marinara sauce. My husband’s pasta in his short rib tagliatelle wasn’t cooked enough. And the organic chicken that my daughter in law had was burnt. My sister ordered gnocchi with marinara sauce because she doesn’t like pink vodka and it came with pink vodka sauce! The waitress kept saying “I know there was three orders of the gnocchi” .. yea there was but one had marinara sauce and of course she didn’t write it down that way so it came out wrong! I spent $135 and I was not satisfied whatsoever.. I definitely will not be coming...

Heard great things about Fresco. We went to the location in Cranston. Odd place for a restaurant but the inside was very nice. We were greeted by an upbeat girl that sat us promptly. The bus boy served our bread within minutes and the bus girl (happened to be same person that sat us) had our waters filled as soon as we sat. Our waitress was friendly. We ordered drinks. My drink was to strong to drink, which is great for most but I was driving. I ordered chicken parm. The person that brought the food out (different waitress) was cold as if bringing the food out was bothersome. The plate was very generous but my dinner was cold/warm when it was served. They warmed it up. The flavor wasn't flavorful. The waitress brought us our check and we waited way to long to cash out. She was chatting with other servers. Finally, I had to ask the bartender to get her. The other people I was with seemed to enjoy their food but they agreed the service wasn't what...
