Recently under new ownership. However, there are significantly more menu items and now shakes are offered. The prices, for the most part, are decently fair. Great for a quick bite with a group of friends or somewhere to eat in the wee hours of the night. As a local, this is a recurring place I find myself, and I'm glad the new owners improved on the establishment.
Update roughly a year after that: I'm significantly disappointed I can't give higher than a 5 star review. This place is amazing and I can't be more thankful for an establishment as great as this in my home town. Calling this a staple is an understatement. The very Fibre of North providence lives in this business and it should be protected...

The food is not at all the same and I’m not saying that in a good way. It seems like all the items were replaced with cheaper alternatives and the prices are jacked up. I use to get a hot dog for 1.50 with a toasted bun and a fresh 50 cent coffee milk from Christensens. Now it’s a cold cheap dog with an untoasted bun with a coffee milk with no flavor and I probably paid double. The people were very nice but customer service only takes you so far.
