Went to the drive thru which wasn’t moving so I went inside. There was one person ahead of me that had already placed his order. After approximately 7mins of waiting, someone came in after me. 3mins later, the kid at the drive thru window walked over and approached customer #3 to take his order. I told him I still had ordered and he apologized. In all fairness I was standing in the middle so I can see how he would assume I already placed my order. Customer number 3 got his food while the first guy and I are still standing there. The young lady bagging the food apologized and said it’s what he ordered that’s already made. Another 3mins went by and asked for a refund and someone I assume was a manager of sorts, says I cannot get a refund but at 3pm the person that comes in can give you a refund. So I have to wait 2hrs or come back? She then turns around and says when was her order placed? It was literally just placed! When my order was made she then bags the food hands it to another person and says that’s hers! The young man apologized for the wait and I then said loud enough so manager of sorts can hear. I know it looks like I just walked in but I was in the drive thru, and stood here waiting to order then waited to get my food. I can understand being busy and having to wait but I’m not understanding why the rude comments...
Read moreI don't make it a habit of going to fast food joints but I have to say this particular location is very efficient, well maintained, clean, good prices and the manager on duty in the morning, Kathy, is very friendly, professional, courteous and very detailed. You never have a problem getting the right order and no missing items. Kathy is right on top of it AND you can actually understand the voice at the drive thru !! Added bonus--- ENGLISH SPEAKING CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD!!!! The parking lot is clean and you can't beat the view-- idiots racing down rt. 44 to get thru the light or watching the ' homeless panhandler' on the corner of George Waterman with the new Timberland boots and knock- off Rolex, swigging on a large dunkin ice coffee and puffing on a cig. I offered him a bottled water and my expensive cliff bar to which he snorted and said "not interested"!!! Can ya believe that one??? Only in RI ???? Anyway, this Burger King is ok. I'm sure the 'professional' panhandler ducked in there when the rain came in about an hour later and I bet Kathy gave him something. She is that type of nice person. Besides, he probably made more $$$ than I did in a day as he rode off on his yellow Atomic 15 speed!!!! Enjoy...
Read moreStopped by the Burger King on Putnam Pike the other day expecting just a regular lunch, but I ended up having one of the best fast food experiences I’ve had in a long time, all thanks to Natalie at the register.
Right from the jump, she greeted me with genuine energy like I was a regular—even though it was my first time at that location. The line was long and people seemed impatient, but Natalie kept things flowing smoothly, cracking light jokes and staying totally composed. You could tell she had everything under control.
Here’s the cool part: I ordered a Whopper with no onions, but when I picked up my order, I accidentally grabbed someone else’s by mistake. Instead of making a big deal out of it, Natalie handled it like a pro—rechecked the receipts, got the right bag to me with zero attitude, and even threw in a free small fry “for the mix-up,” even though I was the one who messed up!
It’s rare to see someone take pride in their job like that, especially at a fast food place. Natalie brought a human touch that made the whole experience feel like more than just grabbing a quick meal. She’s the kind of employee that honestly makes you want to come back.
Burger King, if you’re reading this—give Natalie a raise....
