Best Chinese Food in town! My family and I have tried a bunch of local places around Northern and Central RI. There's some great food out there, but Golden City reigns supreme. The chicken fingers, wings, fried rice, lo mein, and egg rolls are all our go-to's. Golden City is the only place that spices their batter, and spices it perfectly: flavorful, yet not greasy and overdone. Plump, juicy chicken inside and big pieces, too! I have GERD really badly and this is the only place that doesn't give me stomach issues. When I tell you!!! This is some of the best Chinese food, ANYWHERE, period! Im here NYC and have tried many Chinese restaurants ane this place in now in my top 3! I had the Chicken in Garlic Sauce combination with Chicken Fried Rice and a side order of Fried Pork Dumplings. The amount of sauce they added to the Chicken in Garlic Sauce was on the extra side, but I loved that! It allowed me to mix it into my Fried Rice. 10's across the board! What a crazy night to consider ordering take out. And to return to Golden City in the same night after over ten years! Using the online ordering option worked so well and as I feeding eight people needed food to be on schedule.
