First and foremost the Merle hay Scooters has wonderful employees. They are always kind well making amazing drinks and food.
This is a review for Scooters as a corporation and specifically the new app. Last Monday on March 4 I placed a group order for myself and my coworkers using the mobile pickup option on the app this order total $42.76 I submitted the order. Then in the car the app told my payment didnât go thru no big so I submitted the order again. Then looking under my recent order it looked like I had placed 2 order and not just 1. When I arrived at Scooters I double checked with the Barista to see if there were 2 order. She confirmed there were two orders so I was double charged.So I was charged 85.52 I asked if there was away for her to cancel the second order and refund the money. She was super kind an example because my order was placed through the Scooterâs app she had no way to refuse the charge on her side and I would need to contact Scooter through the app email.
This is were the problem comes into the equation. I reached out Scooters through the email on the app, email through the website, there customer phone number the customer service number no real operator you are just asked to leave a message I reached out through Facebook messenger where a person just gave me the run around on why no one has contact to issue a refund. And how I need to email scooters I have emailed them at least 6 times. It is now going on 2 wks without any actual communication...
   Read moreI have always loved the convenience of Scooters drive through and enjoy being able to stop for coffee on my way to work. I havenât loved the food options for breakfast but have never reviewed that part before, but after my visit this morning I decided it was time. We ordered our coffee (no complaints there - hot and prepared to our liking) but the ham and cheddar breakfast sandwiches were a hot mess⌠literally. I donât know if they were left in the microwave too long or if itâs just the cheap cheese used - it had melted out into the bag and even after letting it cool was dripping off the sandwich. It was like cheez whiz consistency and by the time we were able to eat the sandwich there was not much left. When I am looking for breakfast with my coffee I wonât be stopping here, if I need a quick bite with coffee in the morning I donât have time to make two stops. I will have to go up the street and sacrifice drive thru convenience to stop at the competition when I am...
   Read moreThis Scooters consistently messes up my order. Last time, I ordered a lucky leprechaun on the app, and they handed me something that looked like chocolate or caramel... I asked very politely if that was the lucky leprechaun (I hadn't had it before, so maybe it wasn't bright green like the pictures), and they let out a big sigh and rushed back to make the right one. Today, I asked for a large blender, received a small. I asked for a bacon ciabatta sandwich, recieved some sort of... burrito?? And no idea what I actually paid for, considering she didn't give me a total or provide a receipt.
They have also gotten SO slow in the mornings. I watched a line of 6 cars form behind me while they made the order for the person in front of me. Then only after I paid at the window did they start my order... Can't imagine how grumpy the people behind me were getting.
Guess I'll drive a little further for Starbucks...
