Horrible. Decided to leave the bar we were already at to come here and meet up with old friends, mainly because we were excited about karaoke. Now we go to karaoke at least twice a week. We arrived around 11. Walked in and immediately put on our songs, my boyfriend and i. We grabbed a drink and sat to listen to the other singers. We checked in with the DJ to see how far down we were because we wanted to go out for a cigarette. Was told there was 2 more singers before us. So we saif cool, had a quick smoke and came back in. 3 singers later, he and i still werent up. So i went back up to ask where we were and was then told 5 for my boyfriend and 7 for me. How we got spilt up when we put in our songs as the same time is beyond me. Anyway, as we were waiting for well over and hour we noticed girls who had walked in after us, who had been wearing, in my opinion, skimpy outfits, had been put in the rotation before us. When we walked in a group of 4 had sang a song together, all individual had there own song, and one person had 2 before we got up for 1 song. 1 song. We left the bar 15 minute before the closed, immediately follwing our songs. We waited almost 2 hours for us to sing one song each. Playing a minute of a song in between singers with a "rotation" that had maybe 15 people may not be the best choice when you know you have people that want to sing. All in all, bring back the original DJ who doesnt favor girls dressing provocatively. If that doesnt happen you wont...
Read moreNOT A RESTAURANT, it's a noisy pool hall. Don't bother just go to Atwood Grill or Luigi's. The owner Bob aka Bobby Lombardo has given himself two positive reviews what does that tell you. Having been a bunch of times with friends to try it out here's the skinny. The portions are very small, food is inconsistent in that a given dish is fair one time and lousy the next. This is what happens when a rich guys wife is told her cooking is amazing. The owners basically opened this up to turn the wife's hobby into a restaurant, she went to pastry school. Bob was given control of his fathers company and the wife has a state job $$$$$. Why does this matter ? because the restaurant is a part time gig to make vacation money. Restaurants are best when the owners are full time restaurateurs and they have a professional Chef. Bobs wife cooking in the kitchen at night after working all day, really really shows ! Hire a professional Chef at whatever that costs and maybe maybe then it has a chance. I won't ever go back is my opinion, better food, service, portions right down the road at Atwood Grill and Luigi's. PS: Restaurants don't have a dozen pool tables and loud music. PPS: Their menu tells you everything you need to know about whether or not to go ! "Take out any of our desserts after you meal so you can share with others,...
Read moreNote: Line dancing is not beginner friendly!! I have been here several times over the last couple of years. Large, airy room in front with table top games. Good place to bring the family for some fun. The bar is big and the area is a little more dimly lit, which is nice. Pool tables and, I think they have darts. Good size dance floor. I do wish they wouldn’t advertise “beginner” line dancing on Thursdays. It certainly wasn’t for newbies! The regular crowd all seemed to know each other and were not receptive to newcomers. One woman told me to get off the dance floor because I didn’t know the dance and I was in the way (her exact words). Extremely rude! A seasoned dancer would have made room and even helped. Will never go back on a Thursday but open to trying some of the...
