When it comes to Thai food in Rhode Island, Baylee Thai Cuisine isn’t just in the race—it’s already won, taken a victory lap, and handed you a plate of mango sticky rice at the finish line. This second location is like the sequel you didn’t know you needed but absolutely deserve—The Empire Strikes Pad Thai, if you will.
We kicked off with the Chicken Satay, those golden, grill-kissed strips of herb-marinated joy that dove happily into a luscious peanut sauce and a zippy cucumber dip. It’s the kind of starter that whispers, “Yes, you’re in the right place,” and then loudly announces it with flavor fireworks.
My wife bravely wrestled with the Tofu Hot Basil—a veggie-packed, spice-touched powerhouse of mushrooms, peppers, carrots, and basil that left her joyfully fanning her mouth and grinning through the heat. As for me, I had a passionate rendezvous with the crispy chicken Drunken Noodles, a stir-fried swirl of flat rice noodles, crunch, heat, and basil-soaked drama that felt more like a telenovela in a bowl than a dinner dish. And yes, I’d binge-watch that episode again.
But the real mic drop? Dessert. Mango Sticky Rice: ripe, golden mango tucked lovingly beside warm coconut-drenched rice and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, all crowned with an edible orchid. I swear angels sang—maybe it was just me with a happy-food hum.
Service was warm, the ambiance cozy with just the right splash of elegance, and every plate came out looking ready for its own photo shoot. Baylee Thai Cuisine isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a love letter to Thai flavors written in peanut sauce and basil leaves.

Read moreDespite getting the food delivered from Grubhub which was a tad late, that’s not the restaurants fault. The food was amazing though. I ordered the crab rangoon, sticky spicy wings, and the spicy calamari to start. The crab Rangoon was so crispy, and so flavorful, very rich and slightly sweet creamy filling, which I prefer. Sticky spicy wings were just as described, very spicy ans I ordered them, sweet, and sticky overall finger licking good. Fried calamari was my least favorite, flavor was good the sauce I was not a fan of, but of course with take out the quality of the food isn’t the same was very soggy upon arrival. I also ordered pork pad krapow, I ordered it very spicy but was still to me more on the mild side I can take the heat. Even though it was not my preferred level of spice, the flavor from all the basil, the peppers, the onions, green beans danced in my mouth. It came with a side of white rice with pairs perfectly. I ordered the fiery beef pad Thai although I did not get to indulge in it because I was so full I took a taste and the flavor of the noodles, meat, and veggies were on point. Lastly I got the mango sticky rice which was my favorite of all the dishes. Mango paired perfectly with the sweet coconut rice, with the toasted flavor of the sesame seeds on top next time I’ll be ordering 2-3 of those because I finished the whole thing by myself. Overall I enjoyed my dinner and I will definitely order again and again. Unfortunately I did not take photos because I was too anxious to dive...
Read moreI don’t like to leave bad reviews but I don’t protect any business serving food. We can get very sick by consuming old food or spoiled food. This is the worst Thai food restaurant in all of Rhode Island the reviews must be made up!! My order was #49 it was purchased at 12:04 PM on February 26, 2024 I got three items the Tom yum soup looked like colored water with last minute added onions, uncooked mushrooms, uncooked, bitter tomatoes, and two shrimps looked nothing like the picture. The sticky chicken taste like the sauce was old!!! And to say the least it’s mows 7:44pm at night and I worked the long shift so I couldn’t go back to return it but I did call them and nobody called me back like the lady said that they would. The Bangkok fried rice, beef, dinner taste like it was old and smell like toilet water, as soon as it touched the tip of my tongue I almost threw up!! Please see real time pictures!! I do not recommend going here unless you want to be sick and pay a lot $29 down the drain. Also put wrong name on order after giving it to them three times and spelling it!!! They never offered a refund...
