We did carry out and —-Sorry to have to say this, BUT.....the food is terrible. Absolutely NO FLAVOR(seasoning)on the wings or tenders. They were as bland as could be. The French fries were like grease logs and the fried shrimp were greasy and mushy. If you are going to serve fried shrimp, at least cook them. We spent $25 on lunch and ended up eating some Lays chips at home because our $25 lunch really stunk. Like someone said in another review, the restaurant looks good on the outside but that’s it. This is not a franchise, it stands for the hard work and dedication that this town was built on. You get the sense that you are back in the hey dey of the mills when you stop by as everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and unassuming. There is not a word I can say that describes Murphys but there aren't enough words to say...
