Bamboo — Restaurant in Joplin

Not sure what going on at this particular take out location but here's my story nonetheless.. it's 12:22 pm lunch time on a Wednesday 10/13/2016 .. I call to place an order just after making a deposit at the bank thinking the order would be ready upon arrival , so I called 3 times while driving to Bamboo and placed on hold without getting a chance to respond to the... "thank you for calling bamboo, can u please hold?" (Click) and placed on hold , and that is all fine and dandy but how long should u wait ? I waited three minutes each time thinking that was responsible 😳 i thought to myself , "man, they must be really busy" I finally make it to the place still on hold and I walk in , one girl on the phone taking an order and two people waiting for their food. I hang up my phone and walk to counter and place my order of a jr. size sesame chicken with the sauce separately, my ticket says now it's 12:31pm, I receive my food at 12:49, get into my car and drive home , about five mins away and open my bag of food and there is no chicken , just sauce and rice 🍚, I of course proceed to call them , they offer to deliver and/or i can come back to the location to pick up , I choose the delivery , at around 1:15 the driver calls and needs directions because the person can't write one word , westberry (after I said twice it one word ) when driver put n his GPS , west berry , anywhos , I received the delivery around 1:20 . So, if u are looking to eat right away , this place is slow , rude on the phone and can't get a single...

Absolutely terrible experience! We went into the Madien Lane store today to order a family pack with an extra order of chicken and sides. When we got home we did not have the full order because only half the chicken was there. We called them immediately at 1:48 PM. The lady we spoke to said she would have the order delivered to us and it would get here in a hour and a half then she hung up on us. We called around 3 hours later to see what was going on. She stated she thought we would come get the food. Again she said she would deliver the food as soon as the driver got back so we gave her the address again. Then we called again an hour later we spoke to a man who said the delivery guy had just left with our order. Then an hour after that we called again and they said they had the wrong address and tried to contact us. However, we did not recieve one phone call from them. It is now 5 hours later and still have not received the rest of our order. At this point I will never be returning to Bamboo again after years of purchasing our families meals here. Especially when we buy hugh amounts of food every week because we feed between 8 to 12...

First experience and the last one. Ordering online was easy and options given was nice. Then the charges of $0.35 for separate container and extra green onions $0.35 well that something. Behold no green onions what so ever. Nada and charged for extra. Not sure on other food they have that is good there. Experience is on the Cashew Chicken Springfield style and Sriracha Crab Rangoon.

Cashew chicken. Chicken was like cooked in old grease, little on pink side on some parts. Fried rice, umm not so, cooked, bland. Sauce not good either. Skimp on portions with high price.

Sriracha Crab Rangoon, taste little spicy, Crab not that I can tell, sweet over powered everything. Like every Chinese restaurant around these parts it's a guarantee Diabetes treat.

In summary, food quality sucked, skimp portions, higher price. People there...
