Taco Bell — Restaurant in Joplin

This place is an absolute joke. I've been a district manager for LasCal (Taco Bell) in Las Vegas for over 20 years, I'd be embarrassed to have this as one of my stores.

I stopped in for an early dinner and it took around 25 minutes for an employee to acknowledge my presence in the lobby. The drink area was not stocked with lids and had only 3 partly opened straws to choose from. When I asked for lids and straws I was told they were over "there". I clarified myself and said the drink station is out of lids and usable straws. The tall gentleman said he would send someone and went back to talking with another employee.

I assume the stores labor was high because the shift manager sent 2 employees on break, when the lobby clearly needed attention. I had gotten my order (still no lid or straw for my drink) and there were maybe two clean tables out of the the entire lobby and the two employees on break took up residence at one. At this point, my pregnant daughter calls me and says she has a Door Dash order for the location I'm at, I ask if she would like dinner. I place a second order for her and ask again for straws and lids and I would stock them. That's when an employee came out to restock. When she arrives we wave and I point to her food, she points to the bathrooms, I get up, hand her her drink and take her food out to her car. She came out to me, clearly in distress. Telling me they refused to give her a restroom key because she's a Door Dasher and not a customer. I had to walk her over to the gas station next door. She was a customer, by proxy. She's also 8 months pregnant and all she asked was for a restroom key and you treated her as if she asked to sample the line.

Here is my experience on my latest purchase walked in and placed an order simple order and had to wait 20 plus minutes to get my order this is what I saw 6 employees working (9pm) 3 making food 2 handing out food to who i don't know there was a few orders one employee was stating that he was moving as fast as he could I call bs he made a total of 6 items while I watched and that is all in twenty minutes now let me remind you that there was 3 people making food after they finished a order they stopped and turned from the station and talked about things not related to finishing the orders just kept looking at me after about 15 minutes I asked why was told they have hard time with making orders promptly the manager just walk into office not realizing that his many employees didn't care about customers getting their food on top of all this there was two employees who just got off work and we're hanging out talking to other employees about what don't know they were whispering seemed pretty obvious that they weren't try to encourage there team to do the job so the two had the hats turned sideways like well you can draw a conclusion yourself they got their drinks and sat in a corner booth then left after visiting with other employees what a joke I would not recommend going to this store on 7th near Walmart taco bell was paying out more in labor than any other store I have ever seen mabey they they should be a little selective about hiring employees 5 employees at minimum wage still was a very high labor cost they could be...

I literally just went there and I got two cheese roll ups, two spicy potato burritos, one spicy tostada, one chicken enchilada and one bean burrito. I left and realized that they didn’t add in one of my cheese roll ups which was for my SON! They also forgot to put my chicken quesadilla in the bag. The rest was my friends. Well, I went back through and the lady wanted to tell me “my manager said that they specifically remember putting it in there” then whenever the manager got to the window after she told me to pull forward he tried handing me only a cheese rollup. Then wanted to argue with me and tell me that the cheese roll ups did not come in the aluminum foil. Hello. I was still missing the chicken quesadilla. I then looked at him and told him to just give my money back and maybe he might want to talk to his workers because that is what it came in! They’re TRASH. I’ll NEVER go back there again. The LAST thing somebody wants to do is go and steal from you guys especially whenever they’re ordering off the dollar menu. Just pitiful you guys be ashamed...
