I went through drive through, and paid for what I thought was my ticket... I was prompted by the full color screen, displayed on the credit card kiosk outside the pick up window. I was then greeted by a woman, who tried to explain to me, that I paid for the meal of the car behind me. She went on, to tell me that their ticket was $6.89.... She went on, saying my ticket was $20.79...
The way she approached me, was accusatory... Like I pulled a quick one on Sonic, when I, "broke protocol"... By paying at the kiosk, instead of allowing her to process my payment.
I then asked, well how do you explain, how I am at fault, let alone guilty of scamming their, "system" for a cheap meal. I asked her, how I've done something that caused this incident. I asked her if she knew that your credit card swiper, literally blinked and flashed brightly, with an animated hand, swiping a credit card, saying , "Pay Now"
She had no response, just informed me that I had to pay the $20.79 for my ticket.... Which I did ... Then she said, "She is refunding the first transaction." I have no clue who, "she" is.... Nor did I receive a receipt proving the refund .... And zero explanation whether I'd be refunded now.... Tomorrow.... Ever? Still no refund posted to my card I paid with.
Basically, that woman had zero concept, of baseline, respectable, customer service... She was confrontational... I felt she had no personal, or professional accountability.
I will not be returning.
P. S. Mozzarella...
Read moreI'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the sole purpose because the food is still okay for the most part even though the order is always messed up. Every time I order a Bacon Double Cheeseburger they never add the bacon. Whenever I get a Sonic Blast all it ends up being is a cup of vanilla ice cream with some M&M's sprinkled on top. There's none mixed in like it's supposed to be like McFlurry's just a couple on top. Below you can see the M&M sonic Blast I got with hot fudge I paid extra for but didn't get. Literally just a cup of vanilla ice cream. I already ate the couple M&M's on top and got mad enough about it that I'm posting a review. I don't know if it's lack of reading comprehension or just laziness, but it's pretty pathetic not to get these things right especially when I'm paying extra to get these things. It's not like I changed a lot or have a complicated order.
I like eating at Sonic, but I'm about to stop because I'm not getting the food I order and if I call and complain all I'm usually told is ah well or that's how it's supposed to be and it's like clearly not if you advertise the M&M Blast on your menu with M&M's mixed throughout the whole Blast.
Clearly the entire staff needs to be trained again because this happens every time I eat here and these kind of mistakes are unacceptable. If it happens to me every time I order the. I can imagine I'm not the only one whose order...
Read moreGood food and service as usual, but the sand volleyball court is terrible. There are enough rocks hidden in the sand to make a rock garden. My fellow players and I have fallen, jumped, landed, etc on rocks too many times to even estimate. Last night I landed on my knee on a 4-inch rock just under the sand that broke into pieces upon impact. My knee is bloody and bruised and still throbbing the morning after. I am really lucky to not have been injured worse.. It seems that for every one rock I pull out of the sand, 2 more appear. They almost seem to be placed on the court purposely! You'd think by now we'd have pulled them all out! The land-mine rocks aren't the only problem: an entire 1/4 of the court is so compacted with dirt that landing on it has knocked the wind out of several people, including myself. The area seems to be growing. There's a drop-off from the hard, compact sand into to decent soft stuff and it's a tall enough to have sprained many an ankle. I get that it's an outdoor court and hard to manage with the crazy weather of Kansas, but this court is almost too dangerous to play on. As a coach, I'm hesitant to recommend my players play here. This is really disappointing seeing as volleyball is a team sport and the volleyball community is great here. I also worry about the little kids who play in the sand - it's only a matter of time before a rock is confused as a...
