Looking for a restaurant in the area and not much around here unless you go south to Eastvale. Seeing the 4.7 rating & that it was in a place we pass all the time, I said we must stop. As soon as we parked & smelled the yummy food from outside and saw the nice welcoming exterior front, we thought an oasis in a food desert. We were surprised that it was a full separate restaurant apart from the 76 station convenience store. We soon realized why the small parking lot was full. They are going to need to expand parking with this place or relocate. The place was packed yet it was orderly & friendly service. The Clippers and our Dodgers were playing on the TV's. We ordered two large horchatas and they specially made us a new batch since they ran out for the night. Delicious, refreshing & cinnamon sticks in the cup. We did happy hour fare. The nachos I had was skimpy on the cheese :( but the few bites I had of the cheese guacamole and crema was delicious. And the salsa at their station was yummy & complements the food. My wife's potato tacos made up for the nachos in substance. She was full on one, so I ate the second one and it was indeed filling and so tasty. Love all the cabbage like garnish on top. Next time we come here, I'm getting a full meal & beer. Someone's fish & chips looked delicious. They extend certain menu items for Lent till the end of March. So I must partake! The waitresses were very busy but did not ignore anyone keeping you informed on your order & were...

Alvaradoâs in Ontario is the definition of the 3 Pâs done right.
People: Eric always greets with a warm smile and checks in to make sure youâre good. I really admire a young man that is professional and takes pride in his job. We met Amber here about a year ago behind the bar she is so sweet and attentive. Oliver, the boss, is constantly around, chatting with guests, cleaning up, and making everyone feel welcome. The service here is top-notch.
Place: Modern, clean, and full of energy. TVs everywhere for sports, good music, and a fun bar area. The location couldnât be more convenientâright at the gas station next to a store where you can grab snacks and drinks to go, fill your tank (or charge your EV), and hop right back on the freeway.
Product: The food is consistently delicious. My husband had the chicken flautasâcrispy and flavorful. Iâm a taco fan, especially their carne and pastor tacos, which are always on point. Everything tastes fresh, and the portions are generous. Alvaradoâs nails all 3 Pâsâpeople, place, and product. Give it a try and you might find yourself becoming a regular, just like we did. You really canât go wrong here: tacos, drinks, good vibes, and plenty of TVs make it the perfect spot for a casual date night or hangout with...
Read moreI paid $34 to get the two smallest burritos Iâve ever received in my life (pictured). They also forgot the rice and beans in the burritos, as well as the two sides of guacamole I paid extra for. I live too far away to go back to get my guacamole, and they didnât answer the phone when I tried calling back. So yeah, I wonât be going back there. I will say that for being attached to a gas station, the vibe there was pretty cool. Also, the food that DID make it into my burrito tasted good lol.
Iâm adding a follow-up here to my original review, to respond to the owner: I respect you addressing my review / reaching out to me. I will improve the rating of my review just for that haha. But hey, I asked to add rice and beans and jack cheese to the street burritos. Itâs possible they didnât hear me / forgot etc. And, the burritos were still so small. And the two sides of guac were still missing. I will email you though. Thanks for taking the time đ
Iâm following up again. Lowering the review score again. This message from the âownerâ was a lie. I emailed. No one ever responded to me lol. Done with this place. I tried a place called Pio Picoâs close by, and it was not only less expensive and better tasting, the burrito was literally triple the size. Like one of those massive chipotle burritos, but more...
