La Islas Marias Restaurant — Restaurant in Jurupa Valley

Good service only if you get the right waitress, upon arrival we wer seated quickly in-spite of it being really full of customers and that didn’t stop anybody from waiting momentarily until seated. Our order was served ratherly within hands of time (if you will, use your hands to count minutes). Live music complimented the drinking pleasures of the soul, which by the way kep on coming (my favorite part at a restaurant..”not left dry” but sometimes if you don’t have the right waitress it takes a very long time before being attended). The food was even better, a taste of the free pacific sea, and well served. At our will the left over food was packaged and bagged for us, which deserved a big tip of excellent service. I don’t live anywhere close to this area, but when I visit this inland I will be craving another taste. Been there a few times, service wasn't always good but we like some of their dishes BUT TODAY, we decided not to come back, we got there and waited about 20 min and nobody even came to offer drinks, while they served other people that got there after us, my husband asked a waitress who will take our order and she said: oh.! I'll be back to help you and nothing, then we hear right in front of us when she told another girl: "That's your table"the waitress didn't even look at us, like if she did not wanted to take our table, we were TOTALLY IGNORED.!!! even from the hostes who is a lady, and the manager, they were more interested in sitting the people that was coming in, AWFUL SERVICE, never come back again, parece que las meseras solo atienden las mesas que les conviene, solo les interesa estar abriendo cervezas para los clientes...

First time being there . Seafood places I'm always skeptical of going . We went on a Sunday but early enough to skip the dinner time and late enough to pass the lunch rush hour. They start your off with homemade chips and salsa, tasty. Our server was nice and attentive . Again we were there when it wasn't busy. They have agua frescas and sodas and alcohol. We had soda. They only serve can soda (no refills). We had the shrimp cóctel(we asked for ours warm) and a jaiva(imitation crab) tostada. I have to say the flavor was there. And the servings was good also. My only thing and it a a personal preference is the music it to darn LOUD. You can't have a conversation while being there. If you do , you have to get close to someone's ear do the side to side cheek to not directly yell into each other's ears. Lol. Other than...
