I'd like to share my recent disappointing experience at Panda Express location #3427 in Jurupa Valley on 5/15/25, where I arrived shortly before 10:20 PM with my two sons. The restaurant closes at 11 PM, so we were well within business hours.
One of the team members, Betty V., took my sons’ orders and served their food. However, when it came time for my order, I noticed there was no chow mein available. I politely asked if more would be made, and Betty responded that it would take about seven minutes. After a moment, I told her I was happy to wait.
At that point, Betty's body language shifted dramatically, she dropped her shoulders, rolled her eyes, and made an unmistakably disapproving facial expression, as if my request was a burden. I calmly asked if preparing chow mein would be a problem, and she defensively replied, “I didn’t say nothing.” I explained that while she may not have said anything, her attitude and body language were loud and clear.
I asked her not to proceed with my order and requested to speak with a supervisor. The manager on duty, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, came out promptly. She was kind, understanding, and professional. I explained the situation to her and expressed my concern about being made to feel unwelcome simply for ordering food 40 minutes before closing time. She offered to have the food prepared, but I declined as I didn’t want to further inconvenience the staff or myself after such an unpleasant exchange.
I understand working late can be tiring, but if a restaurant is open until 11 PM, customers should not be treated like an inconvenience for ordering at 10:20. It’s disheartening to be made to feel like a burden simply for ordering food that is advertised as available. If someone is unable or unwilling to serve the public with basic courtesy, perhaps a different role or shift would be more appropriate.
Again, I want to commend the manager for handling the situation with grace and professionalism. I did pay for my sons’ meals and left shortly after. The receipt timestamp is 10:28 PM.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity for...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the Panda Express in Jurupa Valley. The service was unprofessional and the employee at the front counter was extremely rude. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was bothering them just by ordering food. I was met with eye-rolling, a dismissive tone, and no basic courtesy like a simple “please” or “thank you.”
The employee rushed me through my order and acted irritated when I asked a question about the menu. It felt like they had zero interest in helping customers or providing decent service. This isn’t the kind of experience I expect from a well-known chain like Panda Express.
I understand people have tough days, but there’s no excuse for treating customers with disrespect. Management really needs to address this issue before it drives away more customers. I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon. Betty was the employee's name and she work's at the...
Read moreI wanted to like this location, but I came in today around noon, originally wanted to pick it up via the drive through because they didn't give me the option to do the app order via drive through so to avoid issue i went inside for the first time. Not that many people, there was no line at all. And I saw my food sitting at the portal, but because I didn't want any issue, I went up to the young lady, who was walking away and was already rolling her eyes, and had a very visible funky attitude. So I just said can I just grab my food since it looks like im bothering you. She asks me to verify my phone number so I quickly tell her my number (annoyed by her disrespect) And grabbed my food and walked out. I'm like why are you so angry and nasty towards people. Just stay home. So I won't be coming back, and I'll inform others. If you want good service,...
