While the food is good, this review is primarily about the poor service I have received both tonight and in the past. I placed an online order at 7:01pm for delivery, and the confirmation email said it would be delivered at approximately 7:46pm. My card was charged right after I placed the order, and when the food had not arrived by 8:45 I began to call the store, only to not get an answer. The store closed at 9:00pm and I kept trying to get through for the next ten minutes. Finally, someone answered, but instead of answering the phone with a "Hello" or "Thank you for calling Kazoopy's, how may I help you?", he immediately went into a spiel on how the online ordering system had crashed and they weren't taking any orders. I told him I was calling to check on an order, and he asked me if I had already placed the order. I told him I placed it at 7:01, for delivery, and that my credit card had been charged. He asked me if it was an online order and when I told him that it was, he again told me their system crashed and that he could either refund my money or they could remake the order, and "I would have to pick it up". I told him I wanted a refund and he simply said "okay" and quickly hung up. This is not the first time I have had to wait 1½ to 2 hours for delivery from this location (and on a Wednesday evening, no less), and I understand that systems do crash, but the customer service aspect of it was horrible. You obviously received my order because you charged my credit card immediately, and if you're not going to fill orders, you should make the attempt to call your customers and let them know, so they are not waiting for hours to eat. Also, one of the first rules of good customer service is that you NEVER tell a customer that they "have to" do something, especially when it's not the customer's fault. That is not providing proper customer service, and neither is the way the young man handled the phone call and the situation. If I am not issued a full refund, I will be contacting the store manager, filing a fraud claim with my financial institution, and I know I will not be ordering from Kazoopy's again. Read moreUpdate 2023: CONS: $10.64 for a FOUR INCH sandwich. Also, overall the sandwich & the bread/food/sauce has changed and is not as good as it used to be. Check menu prices before ordering -you’ll save money ordering a large, but the large sandwich is still $26!!!! We used to really love coming here when we lived in the area. It was expensive, but crazy delicious and worth the price every now and then. Sadly, this is no longer the case. It’s a good sandwich, but not as good as it used to be -and, even if it was, it WAY too expensive now. I’m still flabbergasted at the price. And I’m really bummed it wasn’t as good as it used to be. We sadly won’t repeat visits or recommendations.
First review: We’d been wanting to try Kazoopy’s forever -today was the day! Employees were compliant with Covid and visitors were asked to wear masks. Adam at the front desk was wonderful -very helpful and went the extra mile to keep us updated on our order. Another friendly gentleman came out and also asked how we were doing and updated us -great customer service. The grinders are FREAKING GOOD! Read moreWell 5 years ago they were great, but I can't say that now. The prices have doubled for rheir grinders. Last night i ordered take out 2 medium Italian grinders MINUS LETTUCE & GREEN PEPPER. One was made correct & one was not. I put the order in at the restaurant at 8:50 pm. They close at 9 pm. So by the time i received my order it was after 9 pm, then drive home & finally eating at around 10:30 or later, is when we notice THEIR MISTAKE, I sad to my husband there closed now so I'll deal with it tomorrow!!!! Well today the next day i stopped in around 12:30 1 pm. Explained the situation, then again to the manager & his response was i should if called last night, they don't make next day correction, even though they closed at 9 , he would if answered the phone!!!!!! REALLY EVERY BUSINESS I KNOW STOPS ANSWERING THEIR PHONE BY A HALF AN HOUR PAST CLOSING. SO I WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT THEY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE AN HOUR & A HALF TO 2 HOURS AFTER CLOSING!!!!!
