Went in tonight with my mother, father, and wife to celebrate my wife's birthday. I wasn't feeling wings but she was and it was her birthday dinner. Wait time for a table of four was reasonable, for being a Saturday night. Our server was nice, but obviously frazzled and new.
My father orderred a raspberry iced tea and received a regular iced tea and when he told our server, they had a confused look and went back, only to arrive and apologize but they didn't have raspberry iced tea. We brushed that off and continued on, my father and I orderred burgers, my wife the chicken tenders (as their wings are ludicrously expensive and it's a much better deal to get the tenders), and my mother orderred a salad. My father orderred his burger medium-rare, and was not informed of any reason he wouldn't get it that way.
About 25 to 30 minutes later, our food came out. The tenders and fries were as expected, and were enjoyed by my wife. My mother's salad was good, save for the garlic bread thay seemed to have been been microwaved, as one end of each piece was entirely solid and inedible. The problem was when it came to our burgers.
Each burger was cold ... and I don't mean "cooling down", I mean "came out of the freezer, tossed on the flat top for twenty seconds, and served to you right after" cold. Additionally, they were BONE dry, and cooked to hockey pucks. It seems like that would be impossible, but it wasn't. The patties were anemic at best, maybe a quarter pound pre-cook. Additionally, they didn't even bring the top of the bun for my father's burger.
So we sent the burger's back, because we aren't in the practice of chewing on meat ice chunks, and my father made sure to reinforce his request for medium rare. A few minutes later, the server comes out and informs my father that they only serve their burgers well done and they were making fresh ones. My father cancels his order, he doesn't want to eat a $10 frozen patty, understandably so. She offers to get him some chips and cheese, or fries, or something and he kindly declines, but she persists and he caves and gets some fries.
I, on the other hand, am hungry and wait it out. 25 more minutes. This time the burger comes out hot, and seemingly juicy. I eat my burger, and while it is NOT worthy of $10, it is food. Our drinks have emptied in the mean time and we get basically no attention.
A bit later and we get our bill, and on it is my father's burger. My mother walks the bill up to the server and informs her of such and she removes the the burger and brings back the bill, minus the burger. My mother is upset at the experience and makes a remark about how his drink should have been comped too, as this entire experience is unacceptable. The server runs back to the station and removes the drink, and makes a remark about the new price, seemingly very proud that she did so, as if she was giving some big assistance instead of making a bad situation a little bit better.
Honestly, I'm surprised that the manager didn't come apologize for the experience and offer some sort of compensation. The level of customer servicr at this establishment is unacceptably low, and given their insanely high prices for what they offer, I will not be returning and I would encourage others to not patronize here. It's a shame too, thr spicy garlic sauce...
Read moreTo say I don’t recommend this store is an understatement but some people have different opinions so let me explain, If you want fast food quality food with an expensive price tag that you need to wait a half an hour for then come here. If you want to eat food made by a bunch of drunk people and prepped by people who need to be reminded regularly that they need to Wash their hands and wear gloves when handling food then come here. If you want to eat at a place that lets little kids run around screaming then come here. If you want to watch a manager drunkenly throw a remote into a tv breaking it in front of customers then come here. If you want your already lukewarm food brought to you by a person with dirty finger nails that needs to be reminded to wear deodorant because of the amount of complaints then come here. If you want to be served by a person who looks so dejected and hungover when they’re at the table then when they walk away they just sit at a table next to you on their phone then come here. If you want eat a wrap burger or salad from a person who none of the employees will eat anything from because he has (allegedly) given at least 4 of them food poisoning from things he has made then come here. If you want to be served by a person actively having a conversation with someone else through their AirPods then come here. If you want to eat at a place with dirty water then come here. If you want to sit at the bar and be almost entirely ignored by the bartenders because they’re sitting at the end of the bar talking to their friends then come here. If you want to eat at a place where all the drink station insides are caked in black sludge then come here. If you want to drink pop from a drink station that has at least a foot of mold under and behind it than eat here. If you want to work for a place whose management are such spineless yes-men to an owner that has said repeatedly that he would replace everyone there with illegals if he could then come here. If you want to work for a place who’s management doesn’t care about there staff even a little who you can go to repeatedly with problems and issues (asking them to do their job) and have nothing come from it then come here. And I bet your wondering why isn’t the owner doing anything about any of this? All he does is sit at the bar getting belligerently drunk so he can berate the employees for his own shortcomings as a boss ,but I mean if you can look past all of that and want to go in you should just complain a little (Even if nothings wrong) they will most likely just give you half of your food for free because nobody there is willing to solve problems, just to...
Read moreI am confused there are times when customers can be complete jerks to people working in restaurants I know this first hand because I work in customer service myself. So I had placed a order with a company called Mr. Delivery an online site that delivers for people weather that restaurant itsself offers delivery. The problem is I placed an order with them yesterday and made an error on them not giving me the correct order. So I called them today after placing an order through Buffalo Wild wings and requested a drink I was willing to pay extra for after I already spend over 30 dollars for two things and tipped 10.50 which is alot of money for someone like me who doesnt have much. And the Mr. Delivery manager told me she couldn't get me a drink even though several managers that work where she does have gave me drinks before. The problem that I have with Buffalo Wild Wings is I asked to talk to the manager there and explained that I wasn't complaining I just had a question and when this woman got on the phone I explained to her how my error in this from yesterday and asked her if I can pay for a drink through her own system and even offered to tip an extra 5 dollars and she claim that they don't take orders through the phone. She could of been telling the truth however I have my doubts because most resturants such as this place take phone in orders and pay for it over the phone. So I question that plus she had a low key nasty attitude in her voice after I kept apologizing for trying to help her understand why I wanted a drink. She was a manager I know that managers help out people even when they don't deserve it. I swear I was kind, I was still willing to pay and wasnt demanding anything and she still treated me like crap. Obviously she gets a part of the money I spend tonight placing my food order so for her it more about getting the next pay check than actually helping a customer out. Very disapointed in this service. Companies like these just hire anyone just for heck out it and those employers don't care about helping you and no matter how kind you were. I guess if I sounded more like the demographic that comes into this restaurant and didn't have a detroit accent she would actually...
