Brought a friend here and not only did they not understand a simple question about a "classic" sub which was the cold cut combo but even discribing the sandwich and what goes on it they still looked puzzled at what she wanted so she had to order something completely different which cost more than what she wanted 1st. When it came to payment she needed to do some cash and some card she asked for a specific amount to be charged to the card and the rest in cash. They over charged the card and tried to take all the cash she gave them when she told them she needed the change back from the cash that's why she wanted to pay with a card too. After all that they ended up giving her the wrong change, shorted her by 3 dollars. SMH definitely a stressful situation that shouldn't have been! It would've helped if one of the girls wasn't on a phone call cuz she kept turning around like we couldn't hear her and saying something in another language and turning back around and interjecting into the problem as if she knew what was going on which she had no clue! I understand being understaffed as I have been alone working in a store before in the customer service industry and it sucks but I always made sure I had everything ready to go even around closing time. We had to wait roughly 4 minutes for the girl to finish sweeping and making a sign to say the bathrooms were closed they were not closed or out of order seemed she just didn’t want folk using the bathroom and this would never fly at my work full staffed or understaffed. There was no white bread which is very odd but no big deal until I see my sandwhich is having all ingredients thrown smack into the fold of the bread leaving me with very dry sandwhich. The girl seemed to hate her job and wasn’t happy at all. Was complaining about the owner not letting her shut down. Read morePhenomenal staff!! The crew went above and beyond to contact me to let me know they believed my card information was stolen and was being used to place several back to back orders at their store.
I hung up and blocked the first caller after assuming it was a scam (poor phone service on my end made the callers voice inaudible + I’d never lived in, near, or even been to Michigan before). The staff continued to make efforts to contact me from their personal phones, and when I finally answered again they alerted me of the theft. Because of their quick thinking and continued efforts to call me, I was able to cancel my card quickly without any major purchases going through!
