I am disgusted with this hotel! After I checked in, I went to the store. When I got back my key didn't work, they put me in a different room for some reason. That was okay, I moved my stuff to the new room. When I went to dinner and came back there was people in my room and my key didn't work again. Apparently the indian gentleman who checked me in never marked the room as booked. So the room was not cleaned for the people who got my room and my belongings all have gone missing. I lost toiletries, money and clothes. I called corporate and spoke with the front desk. All I have received is a run around. It honestly shouldn't be my job to chase my stuff down. You would think someone would take their job seriously and either find my belongings or replace them. I guess that is too much to ask of a sub-par hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you want a room to rent by the hour. Than you really don't need to worry about losing your belongings. Don't have any expectations of professionalism or compassion towards you as the guest. I feel cheated, disrespected, swepted under the rug, and am angry that no one has done a thing or gone out of their way to help me. Corporate filed a report which apparently is just a record that I called because at the end of my call I was told to call the hotel to resolve the issue with them. If this is a franchise or chain hotel it doesn't matter, they have smeared there reputation as a safe hotel in my opinion. They may as well stolen my stuff themselves. I would love to just say thank you to all of those who helped wreck my...
Read moreThat place is the definition of a "DIVE"!!! I took pictures of what I'm talking about. I didn't even use the shower. It was too seedy! Looked like it had peeling paint on the tub and surround. The bathroom door had the striker broken out so you could see the doorknob shaft through the raw wood broken area (couldn't keep the door closed). When you first enter the room it appeared there was a door mat glued to the floor at one time. The dried glue was still left there. The vinyl flooring looked like something from an abandoned house.I killed 8 house flies and 2 fruit flies before deciding weather to stay or not. I didn't even take my clothes off to sleep. Didn't want to open my suitcase just in case there were other "live entertainment" lurking. The toilet paper dispenser looked like it had been drug behind a car for a couple blocks. The toilet wiggled drastically even while just putting the seat down. This was the first time I've used a Motel 6. Had been using Super 8 but they have let their standards drop as well. That's why I thought I'd give Motel 6 a try. Won't do that again. I only stayed because i am from out of town and got lazy and was trying to save a buck. The staff was polite and the morning attendant that I checked out with asked me "how was your stay?" I hesitated for a moment, (not wanting to be rude) then responded "I'm alive, so that's good". He smiled and printed my receipt. I am laughing in disgust over...
Read moreI have lived here for a month. They have bed bugs and when you complain about it, they say there is nothing they can do, as if you brought them in. They give people that stay for one or two nights bright white sheets and good soft bedding. If you stay longer than that they make you move to a room in the back. Then they give those people only the stained and holey bedding and stained towels. They say microwaves in every room. There are not. They charge you $15 a week for a microwave and $25 a week for a mini fridge. If they catch you bringing your own mini fridge in, they give you the option to pay more on the room or leave. They wont open or fix pool because it is against their religious beliefs for women to be exposed in that manner. You cant even just lay out. If you have kids, they are expected to stay in the room and stay quiet or you will be asked to leave. If you ask for a bible here, they give you a bible from India and do not carry a holy bible as an option. The vending machines eat your money and when you complain about that, they say that there is nothing wrong with it. The orange juice was 4 months expired from the vending machine... This is the worst hotel for privacy and cleanliness and pricing I have ever been to. Motel 6 needs to come in and either shut them down or force them out of the sing the name. It is a disgrace to...
