Dos Amigos — Restaurant in Kankakee

Do not accommodate customer when food is not prepared the way I order. I order two BLT clubs with extra bacon and mayo. When I got to work there was no extra bacon and barley any mayo on sandwich. When I call them to tell them they told me there was nothing they could do about cuz the cook said he put it on there. I order this all the time when I go there and I go there often, so I know how it should be. What happen to customer is always rite??? I spent $20 on a meal neither my co-worker or myself enjoyed and to be told there was nothing they could do about it was a slap in the face! They showed no compassion to an unsatisfying customer. I'm hoping that my family just went on a bad day. After reading the 4.5 stars online and looking at the price of the food, I had my hopes up for good food. Unfortunately the time with my family started with your average canned/jarred store salsa and chips. The kids were fine with their beef taco dinners. My chicken burrito suizo was a bummer with what they called suizo sauce that was the same salsa served on the table and the chicken was chicken sausage and not good at all. My fiance and I decided to try this place,after seeing it was reviewed as #1 BEST mexican restaurant around our location. I was blown away by this place! My favorite was El Mexicano, until eating at Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos is truly authentic;from the atmosphere, to the food,this is truly a remarkable establishment!
