Update 6/9/25: Gia, Terell and the crew represented once ta'gain. I'm telling y'all - if you haven't been here yet. You are MISSING OUT! My chicken sandwich people get in line as well. Come holla at the folks. They doin big thangs and consistently. There's really not much more to say. Get you some - RIGHT NOW! Alright y'all I'm back at it again and you KNOW how much I love ❤️ burgers 🍔. Let's get into it and see if Danny's delivered. Here we go! My husband and I are "foodies" to our hearts and had been wanting to check this place out for awhile. It's a ways away from where we live, but we found ourselves in this area for other reasons and decided to go for it. When we pulled up it was in a strip mall with some other businesses, nestled in an unassuming spot. As we pulled up there didn't seem to be a lot of people at the time. I was on a call so it took us a minute to go in. As we were sitting people started trickling in and then flooding in. I was like let me get my butt off this phone and in here so we can see what the hype is about. Ahniya was the first face we saw. She met us with a warm and welcoming smile, took our order with care and made suggestions when we told her it was our first visit. She told us she'd only been working there for three days but she's already a pro. Great personality and face of the business as you walk in! When I asked if I could take some photos she grabbed Mark. He came out and was just as welcoming. He told us he was the general manager and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our visit. Our food arrived hot, fresh, accurate and so appealing. My husband and I each ordered the DBS Classic burger. I got a double with extra cheese, raw onion, dill pickle and crispy Applewood smoked bacon 🥓. My husband got the same except he got a triple and no bacon. We also both got tater tots and the house ranch on the side. Needless to say, we looked at the food, looked at each other and went to work. When I tell you this burger was phenomenal - I absolutely mean THAT!!!! The beef was so tender, juicy and seasoned to the utmost of perfection. The cheese was gooey like I love and the bacon was perfect. This is hands down the most delectable smash burger I've had the pleasure of enjoying in this city - HANDS DOWN!!! Major shout-out to Terrell. You truly did ya thang!!!! Now I don't want to make the Tater Tots jealous here because they certainly did their thing as well, with their hot, fresh and crispy selves. Oh so crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside and when I dipped them in that savory ranch it was a complete wrap. Chile, I was all the way in food heaven with this meal. Y'all!!! If you call yourself a burger connoisseur you have GOT to get your behind to this spot immediately. The portions are excellent. I felt we got great value for our money and the staff is so wonderful that it makes you feel good patronizing this establishment. It's clean with plenty of seating, unique drink options and a little station where you can get your ketchup and mustard. Another added bonus is they offer discounts to members of unions, LEO, fire, vet, active, guard and reserve members. Way to give back to the community. Not much more to say here except if you haven't figured it out by now I highly recommend this place, it's worth the drive and we'll DEFINITELY be back for more. Tell Ahniya, Mark and Terrell we said "what's up" and make sure to treat'em right. Enjoy and you're welcome!!! ✌️

🌟 🌟🌟🌟 4/5 V Card Verified as A Good Hungover FRIE-day! I walked in and there was a decent handful of people there; 2 dining in, and two in line to order. They seemed courteous but not quite friendly. The place is small so it’s obviously easily awkward with a small herd of nervous strangers. One guest standing against the wall, some other guy with sunglass shades too dark for these grey winter skies, almost sketchy-looking sitting in the corner- but not enough to make you feel unsafe. Almost cartoon-like. Oh!- the chefs were cute; something about a good man flippin your burger is just gonna make it taste better anyhow. A curly soft-haired lady took my order and she wasn’t-not friendly. I talked her up a little but I think it almost startled her, as if no one talked to her before. Maybe people don’t talk often in this place- it was very quiet all around and I’m well… not always. But it is the day after the parade and seemed the whole city was hungover. And she was nice nonetheless and turned out her son owns the joint!.. maybe he’s Danny? So this is Danny’s Mom’s Burger. The “OLD SCHOOL” Burger. It had a patty, 🍔 mustard, red onions and pickles- I read it on the menu board and found it as classic as a burger could be. If they can make this well- the rest must be a smash! I had a grounded true excitement as I skipped to the car without jostling the sexy brown bag. That’s when I was grateful to, …Add some fries. Oh my the fries!!!!! They reminded me of what McDonalds tasted like back in the 80’s before the tyranny of the first world and corruption of other planets, these fries were a perfect Bon Jovi afternoon. They had THE PERFECT amount of salt, crisp, long and square cute.. just mmmm… I thought I wanted a burger but what my subconscious wanted at this place was the FRIES!!! Those obligatory first two fries hopping into the car were sheer joy… an audible and real “mmm” peeped out. It was then torture not digging into the bag the rest of the drive home. This place is great to-go bc they smelll goood! The burger was simple, so so Simple, well cooked and juicy patty, basic seasoning- nothing excitingly wow- just more of a comforting mmm delicious feel. No frills. I feel this would be good after a hot summer day at a frisbee golf game, or now just to keep warm. W the Simplest Bun ever; similar to the good school bread we had at lunches as a kid. -and the good cheese, melty and pure Classic just like this burger. 🌟🌟🌟🌟. 4/5 Food Quality and Quantity 🌟🌟🌟. 3/5 Cleanliness and Hospitality 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. 5/5 Experience and Value This place had fun crumbs and salt rings on the tables and floor, nothing super fancy about this place except the classic burger flavor; Would absolutely come back and credit excellent quality all around! It was a great burger!

It amazes me how there are creative people out there who can take simple, common ingredients and turn them into something that is memorable. Let’s talk hamburgerlers! Specifically, the hamburgerler known as Sweet Heat! Danny’s Burger Shack has this incredible concoction, along with other incredible looking concoctions, such as the Bruised Heifer and a Drunken rancher, just three that are listed on the menu. Now they take a ¼ lb. patty of their special blend and sear it on the flat top, cover that with Cheddar cheese, add some field greens, caramelized onions, jalapeno jam, truffle Dijon and some bacon. They lay all of that between a fresh bun and shazam, an incredibly delicious hamburgerler is born! When you bite into this treasure, the first thing I noticed was a hint of sweetness followed by the savory flavors of beef and cheese. Then there is the saltines and smoke of the bacon and the crunch of the greens. On the third bite I could start to get a hint of heat. That heat was warm, not fire hot, and added a lot of flavor. This is a very well balanced sandwich, there was nothing overpowering, and all the flavors work really well together. This is not good! They are only three miles from where I live. I might need a new wardrobe! Well Done Danny’s Burger Shack! Well Done Indeed! Dinner at DBS on a Friday night, life is good!

My husband and I are still drooling just thinking about our burgers from Danny's Burger Shack last night. The Drunken Rancher burger has a perfect balance of flavors, and the actual burger patty itself is to die for. You can really taste the quality of the beef, which is completely different than most burgers we've ever ate. I also normally don't like a bunch of toppings on my burgers (more of a Plain Jane kind of person), but I always like to try the full experience of the burger when trying new ones, so I tried it with everything on it first. I didn't take a single topping off of my burger, and I will continue to order it with the full toppings now, that's how good it was. My husband and I chowed down our burgers in complete silence (unusual for us), and immediately after finishing, both said "wow, that was THE best burger I've ever had!" I have already been telling everyone we know that this is the best new local burger shack around. We truly look forward to our next visit (probably today, it's that good) and trying all the burgers the menu has to offer. If I was to ding them on ANYTHING, and this is being really particular, the fries we had were ever so slightly undercooked for our liking. They were still delicious and it didn't stop us from piling them into our mouths, though. TLDR: I would rate them 10 out of 5 stars if I could, and I will happily be a...
