absolutely appalled at the customer service, the management, the false advertising, and the lack of cleanliness that was portrayed during my visit. I’m a manager myself and have been for 2 years in the customer service industry. This manager 1) when we asked for a price check because something wasn’t labeled, she told us SHE forgot her scanner and then said that we can “always look it up on the website”. if i wanted to look up things and buy them from the website, i would have. i needed help IN store and was made to feel bad for asking a question on a product i planned on purchasing. This manager 2) when i was purchasing a painting it had a big red 50% off sticker on it, as well as the exact same paintings that were next to it. When i went up the counter to check out, i wasn’t able to see how much things were or discounts on the card reader, so i started to look at my receipt as we were walking out, just to double check everything. i went back inside with the painting, seeing i was charged the full amount. the manager came over to the girl that was checking us and let us know that it was our fault and the policy is that once it’s rung up full price that’s what it is and we have to check it before we leave the store and that somebody else probably switched the stickers or tags on the painting. I started to get a little upset, letting her know that i couldn’t see a price on the card reader and the other paintings that were the exact same were labeled wrong as well then. She let me know with a very rude attitude that she could give me the refund or the discounted price “just this once” but this is the only time she would ever do it. My partner and I were being respectful, she was the one getting defensive over something i felt could have been a quick fix. we received no apology from her, just terrible customer service. THEN THE MANAGER 3) when we came back inside because we couldn’t fit it in the car (i know 🥲 after all this) we asked if they could hold it until tomorrow or if we could receive a refund. we were very apologetic. the manager asked us if we could have anyone else come get it (no, it was 8pm at the time as well) then started making my partner feel terrible, very condescending and disrespectful. she was speaking to us like we were a huge burden and this giant problem. her employees were apologetic and i assured them i had to problem with them and appreciated their kindness and patience. As my partner and i get more furniture and decor for our apartment, we will NEVER be stepping foot into that specific at home again, which is such a shame. i really hope that at home executives or district managers take into consideration new management. i have NEVER left a review about customer service ever before, as someone who has worked in the industry so long and is very understanding. there was NO reason my partner and I should have received that type of treatment and its saddening thinking other people could receive it as well. there’s a certain way to talk to people, especially customers who just dropped a LOT of money at your store and just need some help on a...
Read moreMore than 5 years going to this store and expending lots of money. This passed week an employer treated me in a very rude and disrespectful manner while I was paying….for no reasons and even more when I got a call in my cell phone while still there and just about to pay. I stayed quite and just saw the way she was acting, picking up my items and almost throwing them inside a plastic container I was purchasing, never offered bags or nothing. For my surprise one of my 2 big containers was with no lid so that made me really upset because I was 100% sure I had 2 containers with 2 lids. That only made me think she put it on the floor so that I get my containers incomplete and had to go back. I rushed back to the Store and a manager named Jason or Jacob after I told him how bad I was treated from one of his employees and for no reasons. This man said he was going to check the cámaras because with my receipt he can see what happened to my big lid. Not even 5 minutes passed when he came back saying he saw the cámaras and the lids where on the counter but couldn’t say anything else because of course he was lying, he never check no cámaras in that tiny period of time. Impossible! it’s a huge store and I saw him walking to the back of the store and came back so in less than 5 minutes he did all that 🤔🤦🏻♀️ Very disappointing really! That’s why the world is how it is now, people think they can do whatever they feel like doing because of course their supervisors are even worst. Things are not going to get...
Read moreThis place is a true Mecca of all things home decor and more. It's a Hobby Lobby meets Pier 1 meets Bed Bath & Beyond. Need a new lamp? Check. Need kitchen towels? Check. Need a new entry rug? Check. Need Holiday trimmings? Check. They have a massive space and not one inch has been left un-occupied by inventory. I really WANT to like this place. Most of the stuff seems decent enough but I tell you, none of it lives up to the "luxury," it's price tag might imply. At Home is TRAGICALLY overpriced. I keep coming back thinking I'll come upon a great sale. Nope. I went in today hoping to grab some discounted Halloween merch. Everything was still full price on Oct 18. I saw this Jack Skellington prop that I thought was so cool. It was $30. $30 for a 6' long, plastic head with no detail in his smile, foam armed, wispy fabric bodied, Jack. Are you kidding me? It likely cost $0.30 to make. Most other stores have their Halloween at 60% off by now, or at least have easily accessible coupons and door busters. And oh all the Christmas items. Enchanting you with their rustic whimsy and sparkling charm. Until you see that price tag. Get to Hobby Lobby. Their Christmas decor hits the shelves already marked down. I guess there is a reason At Home shelves are always well stocked and the parking lot is bare. Sorry At Home. Won't be back until you make some much needed...
