King Combo — Restaurant in Kansas City

So I’ve been going to this place since the old man first opened it. Always has had excellent customer service. Now i haven’t been there in 3 months is it a new owner. I called to place a Togo order for a 5 piece dark . The man who answered was rude. I asked for 3 legs and 2 thighs. He told me I have to take what they put in there. Since when. I didn’t argue. I’m just going somewhere else. STOP LETTING THESE FOREIGNERS COME INTO OUR Neighborhoods and treat us or talk to us any kind of way. There are other chicken places and grocery stores with the same food. I went to Cosentino’s where I can get what I want. That’s why TRUMP DONT want them over here. You come to my country and treat me any kind of way. In all the years I never thought I would stop eating here. WAKE UP BLACK People Support your own🥰🤣go across the street to Sunfresh. It’s owned by a black person cooked by black people and it taste better. And you can get what you want. Or Popeyes. We are not dogs. They have no right to tell you what you have to take and you are spending your American hard working dollars. And don’t forget our Ancestors built...

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. They have everything: burgers, pizza, gyros, salad, fish, chicken, carrot cake, on and on. Big portions at reasonable cost -- the way American restaurants used to be. Nice big cheeseburgers.

One of the things I ordered was a gyro. It's their own style, not the cookie-cutter gyro that you get at every mall and chain Greek restaurant. A ton of meat on the thing, and great sauce (cucumber sauce?) Come on everybody, try something different. The gyros in Greece are all different, too, not the cookie-cutter kind you always find in the States.

With a restaurant of this type, which is unique -- one that makes a lot of different kinds of dishes -- it's hard to get everything tasting good. In fact, it's nearly impossible. But King Combo pulls it off. These guys/gals can cook!

This is really a great asset for the neighborhood. I hope this place develops chain stores and goes national.

Ok my other review didn't post but I love this place everything I have ordered so far has been good. I can't remember everything I have tired but I know I tired all there wing and love them and tired the double trouble burger one of my fav also good. They are slow but that's to be expected for a business just starting out with such a big menu what I will suggest is going there and getting a menu to keep because you can call in our order so you want have to wait long, they'll even call you back when it's done, well they called me back. Their nice, good food, great prices. Also I would suggest whenever you get your order always check your food before you leave, nothing never been wrong with my food but there has been stuff missing from my meal, like my rolls, or once they didn't give me a drink it hasn't happen a lot but I still check and when it has happened they alway apologize and fix it right away...
