I ordered lunch for myself and two others today. Let me start by saying what is good about LC’s Hamburgers Etc., because there really isn’t much. The breaded mushrooms were good. The bacon is thick cut and good. The buns are good and the right size for the burgers. The rest of the experience was overpriced, underwhelming, and I probably wouldn’t go here again.
What we ordered- T: Double bacon cheeseburger, no lettuce or tomato, add Swiss cheese and pepper jack cheese. 1 strawberry milkshake. L: Double midwestern burger, no lettuce or tomato. 1 Reese’s peanut butter shake. Me: 1 order of breaded mushrooms and 1 order of bacon cheese fries add provolone. Final cost before tip: $56.77.
T absolutely loves cheeseburgers and he said his wasn’t very good. It lacked enough Mayo and the burger was dry. He also pulled the “eight grilled onions” off of his burger because they weren’t so much grilled as they were more burnt and bitter.
L said her burger was good, but felt like it lacked value for the price and lacked flavor.
My breaded mushrooms were good. The bacon cheese fries were pretty basic. The sauce comes from a bag or a can and isn’t great. The provolone I requested came as a single slice slapped on top. The bacon was good.
I am giving LC’s Hamburgers Etc. 2 out of 5 stars because-
The location is a bit wonky to get into. The drive thru is not for LC’s, if you don’t realize that then you have to drive through two parking lots to make your way back around to LC’s.
The menu is misleading and the online ordering is odd. Okay when it says “eight grilled onions” they mean finely sliced rings of onion that are grilled until burnt and bitter.
The price wouldn’t be problematic, if the quality of the food you received matched the price point. The shakes were the size of a small at most places, my $8.54 order of bacon cheese fries were subpar. I could have been served cheese fries from a gas station next to LC’s and I wouldn’t have been able to discern between the two if you removed the bacon from the top. The food is just lazy and lacking.
Our experience here would be completely unforgettable if it weren’t for being overcharged for feeling so...
Read moreCurrent update (may 2018) Burger flavor is back! Grill is finally seasoned to how it was and it's amazing. Sesame seed buns are also back. ALSO the new fried mushrooms are amazing. On the same level as in-a-tub. Changed my rating to 5 stars because it's exactly how it should be. Call ahead and your order will be ready when you get there.
Been going here my whole life but this is a review based on just reopening. I went 4 times in the first week they reopened after the fire. Here is my review of the famous Big Deal: Buns are different. No sesame seeds but a nicer looking bun, similar taste. Burger: Even though these burgers are cooked the same on the same salvaged grill they taste slightly different. Each burger has gotten closer to the original so I think after a few months of the grease building back up it will back to the same taste. Still awesome tasting grilled onions. Fries: first time I went the fries were different, slightly larger. Times 2-3 original perfect salty fries. Time #4, slightly undercooked, they were really busy.
Overall I'm giving it a 4-5 because the taste just isn't the same but still amazing!
I did also try the peggy burger: mayo, bbq sauce, bacon, jalapenos, extra grilled onions, lettuce, tomato. It was 3 of 5 stars. bun was a big soggy from...

I love LC's. I've yet to have something form there I didn't like... the tacos are pretty bland, but other than that, the burgers, fries, and rings are usually ON POINT! ^_^
Here are a few things that you might find helpful:
Always call in and pick up- do not eat in. the place is too small. The napkins are tiny- Use paper towels AT HOME- don't eat there! The burgers come with grilled onions so if you don't like them, ask for them off.
Love the Philly cheesesteak. It was scrumtrulescent. The fries are usually crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside... unless someone ahead of you orders “well done” then it throws the fry cooks off their game. :P I’m told their fries are cooked in the real good stuff and not in vegetable oil. Burgers are greasy, but not overly so. Just the right amount to make you feel good and full.
If you call ahead and the person who answers the phone does not sound like they know what they are doing, they probably just got a new crop of kids in and you should call back once they’ve broken them in... when they are new the fries are over cooked and unsalted, the burgers dry and bland, and they will mess up...
