McDonald's — Restaurant in Kansas City

i went there at 10am to get a sausage biscuit, a sausage mcmuffin, and a large coffee (Hazelnut) and i brought a laptop and my Bible because i wanted to stay there and study and then play chess online. Just wanted a day away from the house.

Breakfast was tasty, the coffee was great. Bible study was great and i was winning some chess games.

then around 1:30pm, one of the managers came over to me and said, "we don't want to give the wrong impression to people around here that people can come in and buy a drink and then just sit here on wi-fi. You've been here for like 8 hours... pack up your things and get out of here." at that point, all i had on the table was my coffee and the materials and this particular manager didn't see me eating breakfast... they had clocked in not too long after i ate

I responded, "But I ate breakfast here, and im actually planning on buying lunch in a second as well."

To which they responded, "Well if you're going to buy lunch you need to do it now. We don't want people looking through the windows getting the wrong idea."

then they walked back to their work station.

Don't get me wrong, the McDonald's food is tasty to me. healthy? who knows? who cares? haha

but the service is so bad. When I was ordering my breakfast that same day I asked for a "coffee, hazelnut flavoring, 5 creams" to which the clerk responded, "what size?" I responded, "Large, please." Then they responded, "Okay so a sausage biscuit, sausage mcmuffin and a large coffee" ready to finish the order...

i responded, "with Hazelnut flavoring, and 5 creams." they responded, "you should've said that earlier." haha

ill still be going back though and I'm not mad at the people. They're just trying to make it in life like everybody else. may God bless them and...

Im upset that im force to even give this place one star. This location customer service sucks. I refuse to spend my money here any longer and I now go to the Raytown location(10 minutes away). The ice cream machine has been down for two weeks. and you would think with all the constructions they would give better customer service but nope it has only gotten worst. No amount of constructions can fix bad service. On to many occasions my food is wrong. I had an issue with the getting the apt to work and ask for MANAGERS assistant and the lady with the ashy purple hair was to disrespectful. I work across the street from this place and my co workers refuse to support this location any longer. My advise would be to get better staffing however the staff can only be as good as the leader so I say start fresh and get better...

Everyone has an opinion about McDonald's. This particular location has not failed me once in the 2.5 years I've visited. I haven't yet had a regrettable visit to this location. They have gone out of their way to provide safe, clean, gluten free options for me. There are restaurants that don't understand, or care about food allergies. This McDonald's location has reliably in just one interaction provided what I ordered, accurately, in the same amount of time that people ordering without any deviation from the menu board got their food. As far as McDonald's goes, this is a pretty good location. The employees are almost always happy, friendly, and pleasant. Reviews like this DO matter to businesses. If your visit wasn't as good, pretty please write up a review so whatever the issue you found can be fixed for the rest of...
