We are so glad they expanded to this new location in Katy. Lots of tapioca drink places to choose from but this is definitely our new favorite due to a variety of boba drinks from their Menu which they can customize to your choice if you want. LOVE their crystal boba tapioca which stays juicy and crunchy, not super rubbery chewy like others. They use natural fruits for the blended drinks instead if artificial powdery stuffs...which is a winner for us. Oh yeah, also a fabulous place to grab some foods if you're running on "E" and need to refuel your inner sanctuary...their bourbon chicken or roasted pork sandwich, popcorn chickens, specialty kimchi fries are some items we tried thus far and really love them. Outstanding customer service and staff to top it off...we will be coming back for more and try...

The food was okay but I’m serious when I say I don’t think I’ve ever had service this bad. Long wait time, confusing payment system, and very confused employees. I asked for sweet and sour sauce and my friend wanted some after. So he goes and asks the manager and the manager comes over, takes mine in a little container which I’m eating, and pours it into another container to give to him while he has a WHOLE BOTTLE of it in his hand. Like geez, forget the fact that he’s handing over my food to someone, but that’s also an allergy risk and frankly just not acceptable. Like who in their right mind does that???? In an age where boba cafes seem a dime a dozen, Tapioca Xpress stands out as a place with exemplary food, awesome tea, and fantastic customer service. The drinks here cannot be beat, and the banh mi and popcorn chicken are among the very best in Greater Houston. Above all, both the owner, Danny, and his staff are not only very conscientious in making sure your needs are met, but also in developing genuine relationships with the customers to make sure they get something that fits their exact tastes.

I cannot recommend this place enough for the folks living in Katy, but even if you're just passing by, definitely drop in! You'll leave with both your stomach and soul nourished and satisfied.
