It was an October afternoon. I was craving for a juicy big fish fillet sandwhich. Once I turned the corner and obtained the bag, I was excited. Ecstatic even. This had been my first fish fillet in 2 months. I had high expectations. When I got home, I took a bite of my fish fillet. The bread was cold. There was a single PICKLE. And the most heartbreaking part: the fillet itself was tough. cold. and undercooked. Lucky me, I had a contact within the Burger King Lihue franchise. My mother and I shared our disappointment with her on her off day. However, she went above and beyond, driving herself to burger king, obtaining a freshly-cooked-out-of-the-fryer fish fillet sandwhich, and BROUGHT IT BACK TO MY HOUSE! I did not request this of her. But she went, truly, the extra mile. She has single handedly brought back the 3 stars that I initially took off when thinking about my review for burger king. When I told them the screen stated that "Your total is... $13.51" the manager responded that we weren't done with your order. I asked her why would the screen say that your total is... if you weren't done adjusting my order? The poor kid on the till was shaking he was so nervous and there was little to no help for him and the woman putting orders on the counter was only putting bare minimum in the bag.
