Had a pretty negative experience here. The bagels were great, but the owner made me stand outside because I had a paper coffee cup from another establishment. I had to stand outside to look at the menu, and when I wanted to ask some questions about the menu items, a very nice waitress came outside to describe the menu items. My husband went inside to order. At one point the owner could see I was displeased. He offered for me to come inside and tried to explain how it is related to DOH standards and how they don't want people coming in with alcohol in their cups and being rowdy. It was 11am on a Tuesday...

Ultimately, he came outside while we waited for our food and seemed like he tried to smooth it over. He gave us some local recommendations, which was appreciated, but didn't really fix anything. Hopefully, he will rethink his position on this in the future. Small things like this can have so much more impact/weight on a customer's experience than the taste/quality of the food.

If it wasn't for the fact that my husband wanted to try their rosemary bagel with pesto cream cheese and we were running short on time on our last day on the island, I would have immediately walked out and spent my money elsewhere when he made me stand outside.
