Gina and than there's the food.
Back to Gina first. She made our first time feel as though we were regulars. The explanation of the plates were spot on.
On her recommendation the Chicken/Saimin and Beef Stew were ordered by us. OH! and an extra Mac Salad, Fries and gravy followed the two plates. I know, a butt load of food for two, but I wanted to taste as many flavors as possible.
Gina brought over a house made chili water that was could be added to the stew or what ever we chose.
I told my wife, if we were at Gina's house and she served this food, it would be like dang this is great home cookin.......
Although there was not one thing I would have considered perfect, over all, every bite of each Portion had it's own flavor and personality, yes the fries had their own personality also......... They were made just right and had a flavorful seasoning on them.
I highly recommend this spot to visitors that are looking for local great food. Remember, they are only open Friday nights and for Sat-Sun breakfast.

Nice screened in seating area in Hanapēpē. Mostly local crowd. Kind & efficient servers. Will stop in next...

My wife's kalua moco wasn't much better.
Another person in our group ordered an omelet which came out ridiculously undercooked.
Maybe we ordered the wrong items, because there seemed to be a mostly full dining room of locals.
Our experience simply...
