My wife and I moved to Wisconsin about 2 years ago. We've been looking around for good Mexican food restaurants, and usually it's a little bit of a struggle. We come from Arizona, so the standards are a bit high. This restaurant meets the bill and then exceeds it a thousand times.
Definitely go for their chilaquiles. I've had it twice now, and it is the best I've had. After that I've had their jalapeno pancake. I could handle the spice a lot better than I thought. But that might be more me than the restaurant. Either way it was great. They're one of those restaurants with with a menu. Having few choices on it. That's actually a good thing, easier to choose, and they you know they focus on the quality of what they do offer. They're also not trying to satisfy everybody. Okay so if it's not your thing, no big deal. I'm vegetarian, so it's not inflexible in that sense.
Their decorations are very simple yet elegant. Sort of fun to see, and has a certain naturalish tone to it. Their choice of music is interesting. Very famous songs, but just piano styling instrumentals of them. I like that too. Servers are kind each time I've come. Quite sociable. I would say service is a little bit slow. Read moreWe don't make the long drive to Kaukauna often, but this amazing place will get us out there more regularly. Patty and Pablo's was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Our drinks and food were amazing - the chilaquiles (with chicken) I had were the best I've ever eaten, and 2/3 of my crabby teenagers were 'glowing' about their food. While I usually get a 'it's mid' or 'meh' when I ask how their food is, I instead got "I'm not going to lie, this is awesome" (that was the brioche french toast with cream cheese and jam) while the other said something to the extent of "you will have to pry this out of my cold, dead, fingers" when we asked if he wanted to swap some food and try something else (he had the special - quesabirria with beef consomme). The restaurant was clean, lovely, and I loved the music - a perfect atmosphere. Our waitress was also one of the best I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Make the drive and go...
Read moreFrom the moment I entered this charming restaurant, I was embraced by a warm atmosphere that made me feel like family. The owners have an inspiring story, and it shines through in every authentic, homemade dish.
We started with the sope, which set the stage for an incredible meal. The fajita enchiladas were perfectly seasoned, while the tamales were the real deal—fluffy and flavorful. Don’t miss the horchata latte; it's a refreshing delight, and the espresso flan is a must-try for dessert—smooth, creamy, and utterly indulgent!
The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, making every moment special. If you’re searching for authentic cuisine served with love, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left feeling nourished by both the amazing food and the wonderful hospitality. Highly...
