Great hotdogs!!!!

Beer list is small but adequate. A few German imports on draft perfectly compliment some of the best hotdogs I've had in a long time. Limited local craft beer options, and most being in a can. Some other domestic beers and a full liquor bar round out the adult beverage options.

Service is adequately competent and friendly. The nicer and more talkative you are with them, the nicer and more talkative they are with you. But don't expect "polished butt kissing customer service" from a bunch of younger kids slinging hotdogs and macro beer folks!

No air conditioning and open front/back doors makes this place brutal on hot days and typically is why I won't stay for a second round of beers and hotdogs during the summer

Parking is paid meters on the street, the meters are coins only, and you have to go to the change machine in the video arcade with the carousel next door to make change.

All and all this place has history, I'm very glad it exists, and I will continue...

As much as I try and love Keansburg’s past attractions and new eats, they tend to come up short time after time. Whether headed to the new bar restaurant nearby and finding it smoked out and too hot to even sit or trying out the famous old hotdog joint of the Olde Heidelberg Inn… it means well but doesn’t quite do it. I ordered the hotdog from a girl with long nails who didn’t bother putting on gloves when handling the food and then taking the cash. It was a turn off for my wife who took a pass on ordering anything. I found the hot dog delicious and was almost tempted to order a drink but the girl couldn’t care less. She took my money, handed me change and turned her back to us without so much as a “Thanks for stopping in!” I decided to hold out on the drink, eat the hot dog quickly, and make for the exit. Don’t be deterred by the front area. It looks like someone’s living room, not a restaurant. Just head to the back for the food/bar. Wonder if this whole complex is even...

I grabbed a slice at pizza v and had a cold bud draft and sat at the bar. the beer was amazing so cold crisp and delicious and the staff was great they made me feel very welcome. I grabbed another slice at pizza v before I finished my beer which was a hard choice because those hotdogs and fries looked amazing. My grandma and grandpa used to come to this place when they were young and I’ve been coming to this board walk since I was a kid.
