For years I've gone to this location, and had no issues, after this recent interaction I went across the street to Sonic and plan to not return to this Artic Circle.
Saturday night arrived approx 10:45 sat at drive up sign/speaker for about 2-3 minutes occasionally saying "hello?", all signage and lights, curious if they were actually open, pulled back around building to confirm hours posted state they close at 11pm Saturday. Saw 2 an employee within and thought I'd pull back to the sign/speaker to try again. After sitting there about 1-2 minutes with no reply. Pulled up to the window and tooted horn. An individual open the window and said "yes" taken back at his introduction "said I was sitting at the drive thru speaker for a bit and wanted order." His response "we are currently closed" to which I replied, your sign says 11:00 pm" he replied "that's correct" confused I said "so you are still open?" He said "no, we are closed" trying to understand I said "so you closed early tonight as it's only 10:50?" He looked up to what I guessed was a clock and responded "I don't have a headset on and we are closed." He rolled his eyes and asked ”what do you want?" Uncertain what he would do with my order, said nothing...but" Before I finished he slammed the window. As I was interrupted mid sentence, tooted my horn a second time to ask for manager contact information. He walked by several times, finally came back and opened the window and said "what?" I was surprised with his interactions with me I asked if I could speak with the manager - his response "I am the manager." I asked "if this is a franchisee store and if I could have the contact information?" He said he didn't know who it was. I asked for the general manager information he said he didn't know who it was. I asked his name as he was not wearing a badge to which his reply was "Derek"
Frankly, I understand places may close a little earier, and this could have simply been explained but I don't believe his interactions with a potiental customer...
Read moreI go and order food and get my receipt that was on my bag tape to it and then I go and look at my bank statement later that night and they charged me twice for someone else’s order moments after I already paid for mine and left and then I go and see if I can find the receipt in my bag And sure enough there was another receipt shoved in between napkins at this arctic Circle I go talk the manager that was there tonight and she kept saying that there was nothing she could do and she couldn’t refund me anything even though I had both receipts and I didn’t order the other one and giving me this whole runaround about needing to contact corporate all this other stuff because she just basically can’t refund me my money, even though I already talked to another manager up north that my parents were at, and they said that she was able to do so just so you’re aware this place is shady if they placing other peoples receipts napkins at this...
Read moreCame to audit and review the service & food at this Article Circle and was very disappointed. The food was not bad. BUT the service was horrible. I asked the employee for extra cheese cake and received none. ( also mentioned I’d pay extra ) I asked the employee and mentioned she couldn’t give me any ( even though every other place has given me extra free of charge.) She said she’d ask her manager. At that point I expected the manager MICHAEL to take ownership and show his leadership skills and come talk to me but instead HID and sent the poor girl back to tell me due to “ food cost” they couldn’t give me any. I told her young girl I WAS WILLING TO PAY and she insisted her manager MICHAEL said no. It’s unfortunate that this manager MICHAEL is willing to lose multiple customers over a .49 cent product. Acting as if it comes out of his own paycheck. Horrible leadership. I hope this girl find a actual good job she feels...
