Cheshire Village Pizza — Restaurant in Keene

I love that this place is right down the road from me! The food is 95% great and the not so good 5% is for the time or two when I could tell that things were haphazardly thrown 2gthr - either by an unmonitered newbie or an overworked overtired reg employee. I mean this place is ALWAYS busy. I get that. But that's not an excuse for the food to be subpar. We're paying good money to order it, which helps pay the employees, and keep the business open for the employer. We all have to go to work too, so yeah. Besides all that, bc it hasn't happened enough to warrant any ongoing convo about it. The food is normally great! Cooked very well, and seasoned / arranged perfectly. The service there, both over the phone and in person, is awesome. It's so good that these guys will remember someone on the street just bc they've ordered from where they work! That shows a genuineness to the people who work there, and who owns it. The delivery has only been late one time in the 2 years I've used them - normally its right on time or early. The only thing I would change is the menu. I wish there was more to choose from. More selection. (I also wish they would lower the cost of a slice of their amazing chocolate cake! I mean you guys made the slice smaller, the price should match the size lol.) Keep up...

Everything we've ever ordered from Cheshire Village Pizza has been very good. Several times, our order has been repeated back correctly, but not correct when we go in to pick it up, (i.e. we ordered a large whatever, but upon going to pick it up, they'd made a small), but they've been very good about making it right. We most often order it for pick up, but I gave the atmosphere a 3, because although a visually comfortable setting, on one of the two nights we intended to dine there, the staff opted to mop the floors well before closing, and the chemical cleaner smell was so overpowering, we could actually taste it...which drove us to take our food to go. One thing I'd like to note is that some of the younger, seemingly new staff aren't great about bringing your food to you when you eat there. This really bothered me when I watched an elderly couple come in, order, and sit down...the husband was wheelchair bound, and the wife seemed somewhat unsteady on her feet. Yet when their order was ready, the kid behind the counter watched this woman struggle to carry a loaded tray to their booth. It bothered me, which is why I'm including it in this review (and why I got up to help...

I was recommended this place by a 30 year resident of Keene and I have to say I am dissatisfied. I ordered multiple items.

Service: felt like it was a bother to pick up my on line order from the moment I walked in.

Food: Garlic Parmesan Wings 10 Ct. The wings were undercooked at 125 degrees and gummy. The fact that 2/10 wings were wing fragments was unacceptable at 13.95 per order.

Pizza: Undercooked and it wasn’t even cut all that the way through. 25.00 for a pizza that isn’t cooked and not even cut again unacceptable.

Mozzarella sticks: Frozen and had a freezer burn and old oil taste

Chicken Fingers: Didn’t even try because after all the undercooked and underwhelming food who would.
