Ashuelot River Park – Where the Force Flows Naturally šŸ’«šŸŒ² Visit this peaceful riverside sanctuary in Keene, NH you must. Ashuelot River Park isn’t just a park… it’s a Jedi training ground in disguise. Calm your mind it will, unless of course you're a Sith... then best stick to your Death Star treadmill. The trails are wide and clear, perfect for meditative strolls or chasing after younglings who believe they’ve unlocked Force speed. The river? Still and reflective—like Yoda after three cups of green tea. Cross the bridge and feel the balance in the Force… or at least admire the view and snap a few holopics. šŸŽØ The sculpture garden features ā€œFlightā€ by Martina Angela Müller—an abstract bird? A hyperspace anomaly? Interpret it you may. Art it is, and art stirs the mind like a podracer engine. šŸ’© And let us not forget the true guardian of the park—the sign that declares ā€œThere is no poop fairy.ā€ Hilarious this is, and wise. Clean up after your creatures, you must. For if you do not… consequences unpleasant, the dark side has. šŸ• Dog-friendly it is, but leash your Wookiee! Wandering off-trail your pet must not do. Volunteers maintain these grounds—be kind, be grateful, be... less of a bantha. 🌳 Plenty of picnic spots. A pergola perfect for council meetings. And serenity at every turn. Come during golden hour, and feel the midichlorians tingling. Master Vossar's final verdict: āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø – ā€œMuch to learn, this park still has… but already, a great disturbance in stress it does calm.ā€ Bring snacks. Bring water. Bring balance to your weekend.

This is a great park. The southern side is a normal urban park with many benches and a cool suspension bridge. There's no fields or play structures so it's quaint. The trail runs north next to the Ashuelot River. The trail is very nice and should be good for dog walking, biking, or walking. The northern entrance is lit and has a pedestrian bridge that goes to the hospital. The forest path dumps into this paved section before bringing you to the north entrance. The river and nature are very pretty all the way through. Highly recommend for a quick walk.

Beautiful and (mostly) well kept park. Though it's next to a busy road, it doesn't take long to not see it and tk barely hear the cars. Pretty walk bridge, tons of nice benches, and all with the small and slow Ashuelot river. Where I sat there was some cans and trash, but I was able to fit it in my small lunch bag and clean it up. Seemed to be an outlier.

Turned into summer residence of the homeless. These people pass out wherever they happen to be. Upon waking up have observed them relieving themselves wherever they happen to be.People with children eat their lunch on the perimeter of the front part of the park and make a hasty exit when done.No playing or running around.Locked bathroom due to an overdose that occured inside. Needles found throughout park. Can't sit under cover of wooden structure because it is ground zero of...
