SHOWROOM — Attraction in Keene

I went for the first time recently, to see a film. It's a very nice, well designed space. The staff was pleasant and the popcorn was yummy.

But there seems to be a major problem with the box office system. It takes entirely too long to complete a simple, single transaction. And I mean, an astonishingly long time. So much so we missed the first 7 minutes of the movie, and there were only three people ahead of us in line when we arrived. There's definitely a better way. I felt for the poor young woman bearing the brunt of the frustration and even anger being directed at her by others in line ahead of me. It clearly was not her fault.

Otherwise, sound and picture inside quite good. However one last thing...and it might have been the mix of the film, but it seemed like the center channel was too low, rendering some dialog too quiet to hear.

So in general quite a good experience, with some room for improvement. I'll try...

The venue feels like a prison. A blacked out room, quite small. The band even referred to the room as looking like a cage match was going to happen. Worst of all, people bought tickets based on general admission seating, however there were NO seats. If tickets are going to be sold that way, they should be listed as Standing Room Only. Especially since there were bleachers there that could have been used. Overall not a good place...
