All Stars Sports Grill — Restaurant in Keizer

I need to come clean with a few of my mistakes first:

1. I looked at all the reviews prior to coming here with my friend
2. I ordered fish at a dive
3. My friend can't have gluten, yet we decided to eat at a bar

Having said that, I did not find the bartender to be rude at all as mentioned by other reviews. It did take 10 minutes to acknowledge me on a slow afternoon, I did have to ask her 3 times to change the channel to the game we wanted to watch, but she did say she would all 3 times. Once it was on the correct channel, the old flat screen would cut in and out.

As far as dinner goes. I did ask about the fish and chips and the waitress replied "they're the same as the other place I work." That didn't give me much info, but now I know that the other place she works has really bad fish and chips. My friend asked for his sirloin medium, it came out like shoe leather. To make it edible he asked for A1, but was told by the waitress "The owner doesn't believe in A1." He also ordered a bake potato and a salad, but ended up getting mixed vegetables and that salad was just lettuce.

I substituted my fries for tater tots, but still got french fries.

Later in our meal our waitress informed us she doesn't even work there, so I don't know if it's fair to give a low review or that justifies it since they allowed someone to serve their customers who isn't even an employee.

It wasn't the worst experience I've had eating out, but it will be my one and only time eating at what should be named Bench-Warmers...

Me and my girl came here a few times when I first moved here. The drinks were off the hook. I used to love it the staff is welcoming and always down to show off thier mixology skills. Especially the red head and the lady with the nice colored bluosh grey eyes. Only down fall is when I got to comfortable and left my wallet on the table cause i become very familiar with the bartender. One of the locals tried to steal it. I was deemed the aggressor be cause I was getting upset. Because of that I was cut off from drinking that night I was upset cause the night was still young so I went else where. I would say that was my fault for getting comfortable. I must say still it is a place I will return on a weekend if you new or visiting this is a place for you. Nice place, but the hippy hangout that was going on tonight was really lame. The bar tender, a thin girl with dirty hair and two guys hanging out didnt make me feel welcome at all. The girl bartender and the guy that was hanging out acted like I was interrupting their conversation. She served me a beer and didnt say a word to me afterwards. They continued their conversation complaining about how slow it was with another "regular." Its dissapointing because this place is clean and a nice place to watch the game. Ive been in a few other times and enjoyed a nice experience with a bartender named Katy who was upbeat and pleasant. I can see why they have a tough time...
