I've been coming here for many years, since we moved to Keizer, but I'll find another spot now. It was Friday night at like 6:30pm. There were maybe 6 to 8 people in the place other than a band setting up. There were twice as many people in the kitchen as we've ever seen (2, lol). We sat down at the bar and noticed that there wasn't any kind of tap list visible anywhere (that's new). When the barkeeper asked for our drink order, we had to ask about what was available (she did manage to tell us about the daily special though). No problems there. Of the 6 of us seated at the bar, the barkeeper (Katrina I think, I overheard it from someone at the bar, she never introduced herself) was focused 50% of the time on her cell phone and 48% of the time on 2 very obviously already over served individuals that were clearly personal friends. We asked if they had a menu item they've had in the past available and were simply told no. We ordered some waffle fries and a pretzel and after 20-30 minutes (there aren't other people ordering at this point, so we're not sure what the hold up is) we received a pretzel and some soggy waffle fries. Maybe spend more time training the kitchen staff and less time on the fancy white chef uniform for a grill cook at a bar? Fake it till you make it doesn't really work with barkeepers and cooks. I had heard that the place was under new ownership/management, it's unfortunate that such a great location is struggling so hard with such basic business concepts. Maybe the wife and I will check back in a year or so and see if they can figure this out. Overall, the lack of any kind of attention from the barkeeper and the quality and variety of foods and their preparation are not what we've come to enjoy here, so we won't be regulars here anymore. Pretty sad, I used to...
Read moreIf you're looking for a vibrant night out, look no further than The Pour House! This charming bar has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town, and itâs not just because of the impressive drink menu or the lively atmosphereâthough those are certainly highlights.
Now, letâs talk about the real star of the show: the fabulous blonde bartender, Katrina. From the moment we walked in, her warm smile and infectious energy set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Not only is she talented and knowledgeable about all things cocktails, but she also has a unique ability to make every guest feel special and welcome.
I was impressed by how she effortlessly mixed our drinks, crafting a perfect Old Fashioned for my friend and a vibrant Passionfruit Mojito for me. Each sip was a delightful experience, showcasing her skills and attention to detail. Beyond just her bartending prowess, Katrina has a genuine connection with patrons, sharing stories and recommendations that enhance the overall experience.
The ambiance of The Pour House itself is cozy yet trendy, with dim lighting and chic decor that invites you to relax and unwind. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a date night, itâs the perfect setting.
If youâre ever at The Pour House, make sure to sit at the bar and enjoy the magic that Katrina brings to the place. Her presence alone makes this bar a must-visit. Cheers to good drinks and even...
Read moreEvery time I come in here, whether itâs a busy night or quiet morning/afternoon, the service and food never misses. The bartenders are friendly and will talk with you like youâre a long-lost friend. Moriah has been one of my regular bartenders for a couple years now when I come in on Sundays for sports. Sheâs one of the best around. Sheâs very prompt with making sure her customers are taken care of with any questions about the menu, getting the TVs to the right channels for the big game, etc. With football returning soon and Sunday Ticket a feature of the bar, Pour House is definitely the place to be for good food, drinks, and a...
