IF I COULD GIVE TWENTY STARS I WOULD! My sandwich was made to perfection in just a few minutes, using the freshest ingredients I've seen at a sub sandwich shop in quite a long time. The time between my order being placed and my receiving my food was just a few minutes, and most important of all it was delicious!!! The restaurant was clean and accessible at all times, and the music tasteful. They also had a TV that looked like it was playing ESPN. A nice touch in case I were to come during a game. Yet sometimes it takes experiencing a difficulty at a business for you to really know how great that business is. On my first visit to this business a couple of weeks ago I discovered a problem with handicapped access. BUT THEY FIXED IT SO WELL YOU'D NEVER KNOW THE ISSUE HAD EVER BEEN THERE! KUDOS TO THE OWNERS & STAFF OF THIS JERSEY MIKE'S!!! The Owners reached out to me within 24 hours of my initial review being posted. They sought to understand the problem, and then took immediate and decisive action to correct it. I've never seen a business so proactive at fixing an ADA access problem. And on my visit today I found 100% handicapped access throughout the businesses. Plenty of seating (inside and out) that would accommodate multiple wheelchairs or other mobility equipment. Words just can't express how welcome they made me feel by responding to the issue the way that they did. The concern and effort put forth was nothing short of spectacular. And their efforts paid off by allowing me to visit today as easily as any of the other customers there. Everything that was available to the other customers, was available to me without the need to ask for special accommodations. This was true even during the peak of their lunch rush hour. They have not only delivered on their “A Sub Above” promise; they have shown that they are “A Business Above” as well. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Jersey Mike's!!! I highly recommend this business to everyone. They are one of Salem/Keizer's truly great businesses. Read moreI'm gonna start first by saying that any review complaining about price is not a real review. To some people, like my grandparents, nothing tastes good if over a certain price point. My grandparents swear Olive Garden is just as good as any fancy Italian restaurant. Wrong!!
This is JERSEY Mikes. You haven't eaten here till you get a Jersey sub or Philly cheese steak. Order the Big Kahuna.. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed (unless you hate peppers).
I saw a review stating that it's no different from Subway except for its price. Grrrll, you're on crack. The meat is freshly sliced and their bread doesn't have yoga mat ingredients. Subway's sandwiches barely have anything in them while Mike's are so full that stuff falls out.
Don't get me started on Subway's "veggie" options when I don't feel like having meat. It's not really an option to have bread loaded up with iceberg lettuce. At Mike's I get a huge sub filled with roasted mushrooms and peppers with provolone---sometimes with marinara. Ya gotta ask for it special, though.
One drawback of Mike's is that they don't have avocado when I feel like having a cold sub, but neither does Subway. When I have to have avocado I go to Keizer Sub (a great place). The drawback of Keizer Sub is their soups. The chicken and dumpling soup is broth and no dumplings, etc. Oh, and Keizer Sub won't let adults have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Why not? They say it's just for kids, but what is so hard about putting those ingredients on a larger slice of bread and charging...
Read moreI’m writing as a regular and loyal customer who typically enjoys visiting your stores. However, I had a disappointing experience at your Kaiser location that I feel needs to be brought to your attention.
When I arrived, I was not greeted or thanked at any point during the visit. The staff seemed disengaged, and the first sub I received had noticeably less meat than usual. After taking a bite, I politely asked for a different sub. While the staff complied, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, and no effort to make the situation right.
Additionally, I noticed that none of the team members were wearing name tags, which made it difficult to provide specific feedback about who was involved, and half of them were continuously coughing…
This level of service is far below what I’ve come to expect from Jersey Mike’s, and it’s frustrating to see such inconsistency between locations. I hope this feedback can help improve the customer experience at this store.
