Mariscos La Sirenita — Restaurant in Keizer

It's painful to write this review being a food critic. I drove all the way from Albany 40 minutes to come to this restaurant because of the reviews. I had to check it out for myself because there were some good reviews on this establishment. 2 different sites had the closing time at 8:30 and 9 PM so I knew we had plenty of time being's how we arrived at 7:03 PM. When we walked in I could tell the server was not happy with no smile. She sat my wife and I then informed us they were gonna close in 26 minutes at 7:30 PM. The owners of this establishment need to realize that the customer pay the bills. Without customers and disrespecting them will certainly cause a business to suffer. Very very disappointing that I took an hour out of my day to patronize this establishment to be treated so poorly. Great food my father took me out to dinner here. The food was delicious and wasn't bland like many other "Mexican" restaurants I have been to in Oregon. It had flavor not to spicy but just right. It was also nice because there was not a lot of people there at the time. Although I'm sure they would want more business and they deserve it. Prices of food a little high but the quality of food made it understandable. It was like looking at art, the food matched what it looked like in the photo.

I do have to edit this review because I forgot to mention the wonderful service that they provided. They were kind they didn't bug you and try to rush you out the door, they wanted you to enjoy the food. They were very polite. I hope to return...

I stopped in on a whim, because the location was convenient as I was running errands that day. I didn't have high expectations (can't really say why my expectations were so low), but holy cow! I ordered a combination meal that came with a chile relleno, a chicken chimichanga, rice, and refried beans. The chile relleno was amazing!!! It didn't look like any chile relleno I have ever had before, but it had the best flavor ever! The chicken chimichanga was good too. I will definitely be going back and I'm definitely getting the chili relleno again. My order was to go, so I didn't get any chips and salsa. I can't wait to try...
