Today I went in to simply order some fries and a burger for my grandaughter and wife. I was turned away at the counter for not having a mask on. Just like 80% of the people sitting down waiting for their food and those walking over to the condiment bar. The girl told me I could go sit down and have my grandauhter come up and order. What? Our family has been supporting Nancy's from her first week of opening in 2013. Not any more! When I spoke directly with Nancy she was rude and condescending! Too bad she cares less who she loses as a loyal customer these days. Butch Dunn Keizer
P.S. In response to your response Nancy, and to correct your allegations I'd like to set the record straight. Number one, my grandaughter was NOT wearing a mask. That's why it made no sense to me when your clerk told me that. Secondly, you walked right by me last week while I was waiting for my order , said hi and nobody asked me about not being masked. And third, I've been coming in for a month now without a mask and have never been turned away from placing an order. I guess the fourth time was the charm. Your rudeness on the phone was quite telling and along with that of your staff, I'll be taking my business, as will many others, elsewhere, even after the magic date of March 31st when "covid goes away!" BTW.... Maybe you could train your staff in better interacting with those of us who have ditched their masks. Instead of using the hammer and refusing service, why not a gentler approach. Let people order and go about their business, but "kindly" inform them that while the mandates are in place, you'll be required to wear a mask unless you are at a table And do it with a smile, instead of the threatening posture your staff took. Honey always...

She also contacted me personally to let me know she was upset about the treatment, it is not acceptable at all, will be addressing it with staff, and assured me this is not what she strives for in her business.
I will be giving this business another chance.
1/21/25 We had some issues with the customer service and the owner herself contacted me to make it right:
I ordered online and went into the location at the time indicated it would be ready. There were 4 people/couples in line at the register to order and 2 people standing over at the condiments getting ready for their orders, with 2 bagged orders in the warming case directly under a LARGE sign saying ONLINE ORDER PICKUP.
I stand at the case and observe the girl taking orders look at me multiple times, one of the cooks come out with an order, shout the number, look at me, walk away. This happened another 2 times and after he started to walk away on the 3rd order out I said loudly to his BACK, "Hi I'm picking up an online order for Theresa ". He turns around, looks at me, looks at the food bags in the warmer (an arm's length away), points to the girl taking orders that has been ignoring me for almost 10 mins, and says "she'll help you" walking off. She finishes the order she's taking (her 5th since I walked in btw), stomps over to me and says VERY rudely "name again." I said "Theresa". She pulls the bag out tosses it on the counter and stomps back to her register. I said "He couldn't do that?! He literally looked at my order sitting there and walked away." Her response: "he's the cook, he's got a job to do,...
Read moreI love the burgers and fries but my last visit really sucked. I asked for grilled onions on my burger. We also asked for fries to be cooked longer so they weren't so limp. Seemed like no problem. Got the burger, no onions. It happens. So I just go get a slice of onion. Our fries are terrible. Totally limp. Take them up and the girl says if they cook too long they will go limp like that. So we get new fries. Not going to take them up again. They should be able to see when they place them in the bag. The food problems happen. I understand. The part that bothered all of us, is that the place was quite full and people were still coming in the door. It was 7:45pm and they close at 8:00pm. The main girl at the counter got out the vacuum and started vacumming the rugs and then folded them up and flopped them over in a stack. Really?? While people are eating??? While she was doing that, someone came in and asked for a shake. She went back up to the counter to wait on them and the proceeded to take their money and then made their shake. All without washing her hands. I really think going from vacuuming and moving dirty rungs to making a shake isn't the clean thing to do. The main cook got out the polisher or whatever it is to clean the floors and put it out by the tables. Just seems like they could wait until after the customers left before they started doing that kind of cleaning. Very unhappy about the situation. We go in quite a bit. Might be awhile...
