FRAUD/THEFT SCAM ALERT! @ Keizer, OR Papa Murphy's -
For many years this was my favorite Papa Murphy's. But recently they have begun running an overcharging scam on customers.
During several recent visits I would be told that I was being charged one amount, only to later read the receipt and find that I had been charged several dollars more.
At first I thought it was simply a mistake or mis-communication. So, on my last visit I asked the exact amount it would cost me several times. My order was then rung up, and I paid for the pizza.
BUT WHEN I READ THE RECEIPT, I SAW THAT I HAD ONCE AGAIN BEEN CHARGED $3.00 "M O R E" THAN I WAS QUOTED WHILE ORDERING MY PIZZA!!!
I very been unsuccessful in all attempts to notify the owners of the scam running in this store.
I have been unable to fill out the "customer survey", since the employees handling the refund kept the receipt.
I have been unable to reach the owner through the store, since they don't seem to pass on my contact information.
I have also been unable to file a complaint with the BBB, since this store chooses not to be a member.
I am upset that a few dishonest employees can ruin what was once my favorite pizza place. Which was once a highly respected business.
And since the owner shows so little interest in hearing about such customer complaints, I feel that I must warn any potential customers about this scam in such a public forum.
So, if you must buy a pizza from this store, then please be careful to do whatever you can to avoid getting scammed. For there is little that can be done about...
Read moreWe came in to order and pay for two pizzas and everything was good until I went to pay with a fifty dollar bill. The cashier immediately changed her demeanor to pretty salty and said 50's and 100's were no longer accepted. When I asked what should I do, she just smirked and wouldn't respond. The nice person making the pizza said you could go to the bar next door. I added that you have no sign that says you won't accept 50's and 100's and again the cashier was just non responsive/smirking, but the pizza maker did say sorry. We went next door and the bartender was very nice and said it was no problem to break a fifty. As we started to go back to your restaurant, I felt very uncomfortable and humiliated and didn't want to do the "walk of shame" back to your place. We decided we would just leave because it had become weird and awkward. I have been a customer for 8 years, but we will never return again. I'm really...
Read moreI love Papa Murphy's in fact I used to work at one as my first job. When I called to place an order 10 minutes before they were supposed to close they said they couldn't take my order. I've never known a place to not take an order up until the time that they were closed. At least back in the day when I worked there if someone walked through the door at 8:59 and we closed at 9:00 we would be making them a pizza. But they already had all their stuff cleaned up and couldn't be bothered to make a pizza when we could have been there by 9:00. I explained to the kid that the pizza was super easy to make and again he said they were no longer taking orders and they were all cleaned up and ready to close. It sounds like the manager or owner needs to have a talk with their stuff about customer service and when the time of closing is set at a certain time you don't start cleaning up before that time. Super...
