My husband went to this location last night 1/24/22 at around 7pm. He purchased a family fish combo which is an 8pc, as well as a 3pc fish combo. When we got home we noticed that the hush puppies was dark and hard and the fish was on the salty side. So I called and spoke to a lady named Emily I think. She told me she'd call me back because she wanted to taste the fish that Hank was cooking. I didn't get a call back and we was hungry, so my husband went to take the food back. When he got there Emily told him that all the fish was coming from the same batch meaning it would taste the same. She also stated we should come back today and she'd put our name in the book. We just left there at 2pm and was told by the manager that Emily didn't leave my name in the book and she can't be contacted until Thursday, she's gone outta town on a family emergency. We we asked her can she call Emily to verify what happened she said no we asked her can we speak to to somebody else and she stated the general manager Farrah would be in at 5. We asked for a refund, and she stated Emily should've done that last night. We asked for corporate information and she told us there isn't a corporate number, they are individually owned, And she couldn't get us in contact with the owner. Here's the problem... Emily took the food back, didn't give a refund, and didn't put our name in the book so other than what's on our bank statement, There's no proof of purchase, Because she took the receipt from my husband last night. Emily said she needed the receipt for her records. The level of unconcern on a $42.00 purchase which left us without dinner is unacceptable to me. I did find that there is a corporate office in which I called and I'm waiting for a call back. I come here at least once a week. But after today I'll never spend money with this company ever again, they are too unprofessional. I thought I found a new establishment to visit, as I just moved to Texas. But this place left a bad taste in my mouth the way they took our money and disregarded the entire situation. Customer service is dead. Covid shut down has taught these...
Read moreNot our normal Chicken Express for picking up dinner but this was the ONLY location in Keller open for business on December 21 as the location on Beach St was closed for their employee Christmas party & the location on Timberland was closed as well so we drove to the Keller Pkwy location. We ordered their special for $26.99 which consisted of 20 tenders, 2 family sides, biscuits & gallon of tea & we added in a couple of other family sides. While sitting at the window waiting for our food, we watched as an employee filled up the tea in the jug, pushed on bottle to push the foam to the top & BLEW it off the top of the jug!!! Of course we declined the gallon of tea as this is definitely a health violation! We checked our order before leaving the parking lot & was missing part of the order. We drove around, parked & went inside to get the rest of our order. We got home to have dinner & found the family sides not filled to the top of the container & very watery. (we had chosen mash potatoes) It appeared they mixed the gravy & mashed potatoes together to stretch the remainder of their mash potatoes they had left & one of other items we had added was regular size instead family size I had paid for. Read moreI frequent Chicken Express from time to time because I love it. However this time was different. I order my usual #2 7 piece express tender meal. I typically I typically replace the drink with a side and get two other sides to share this all with my son. This time I added a few cookies. Typical I have a few boxes. This time it was one. At first I was reluctant at the drive thru and mentioned my surprise and the man being able to fit everything in there. I open the top in front of him and I saw all the sides at the top and went over everything I order and he stated it was all there. I felt assured enough to not dig out everything in my new car in front of him. We then drove home and open it up. There I found all my sides as usual but only three chicken tenders what a bust. Usually we get a few more then asked or the exact amount but not less than ordered. I then called the number on you website. There was no response after three phone calls. so I left this post. Be aware of getting shorted on your meal at the 1709 / Keller drive thru. This happened once before and just thought I didn't have a way to complain. Till I search a little deeper.
