⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been eating at Joe’s Pasta and Pizza since they opened, and these recent negative reviews are just not accurate.
Someone complained about getting only 5 pieces of lobster ravioli — that’s how it’s always been. The portion hasn’t changed, and it’s priced fairly. Another reviewer was upset about being charged for extras like lemons, croutons, and dressing. But let’s be real — restaurants aren’t running donation services. If every customer got extras for free, no business would survive. Asking for extras usually comes with a small charge, and that’s normal everywhere.
What really stood out to me was the shrimp Alfredo complaint. I was actually there when it happened. She ate almost all of her food before claiming there was a hair in it — and then had the nerve to ask for a to-go shrimp Alfredo and expected not to pay for it? That’s just pure greed, not a service issue.
And I have to say — the staff treated her and her two friends with the same friendly, professional service they give to everyone. I even overheard her ask for extra tomatoes, extra croutons, and extra lemon, and the servers brought it all without hesitation. She literally made lemonade at the table. Her two friends even tipped the servers and complimented them — a complete contrast to what was written in the review.
Also, Joe’s in Keller has the lowest prices of any Joe’s location. Don’t believe me? Go try the others and compare.
This place is consistently good, honest, and welcoming. Don’t let a couple of dramatic, unfair reviews fool you — Joe’s deserves credit...
Read moreI really like this place. The food is very good and the portions are decent, for the price. I will say this though, don't get too adventurous with trying something new. If you happen to not like it, you're stuck with it and will have to pay for it. They don't allow you to trade a meal out for another, if you don't like what you originally ordered.
I took my kids out for dinner and I ordered the chicken alfredo for myself. I have had it before so there was no big deal there. My son opted for shrimp scampi. I've made it at home several times and he loved it, so I thought that was a win there too. I ordered ravioli for my daughter thinking that we all like ravioli, so whatever she didn't eat would be fair game for left overs. First, I didn't know it was cheese ravioli. I thought it was beef ravioli, which my daughter likes and eats often. My daughter refused to eat it. Fast forward, my son was disappointed with the scampi saying it didn't have much flavor, and it really didn't. It needed more garlic butter sauce. So I gave my son a bite of my alfredo. He loved that and decided he wanted that. My daughter ended up liking the scampi we ordered for my son. So, I decided to feed the scampi to my daughter and asked if we could send back the ravioli and get a shrimp alfredo, and I could pay for the shrimp alfredo instead, which was more expensive. They said they don't do that, period. I was told, "We give you the menu, whatever you order is on you and if you don't like it, it's...
Read moreI have been coming to the Keller and Watauga locations for almost 20 years. I always come with my wife and 2 boys. It's THE spot. I do want to address some of the comments I've read. First, they have never charged for extra rolls. Second, I've also never been treated poorly or rudely by any server from these two locations and the entire staff has always shown attentiveness and respect every time my wife and I come in, and they always involve the kiddos. They remember our faces every time and greet with so many smiles and, "How are you guys?!" We consider the staff as extended family after growing a good repore. They take away plates to offer room. Its weird energy for customers to complain about that and twist it as a means to feel rushed to eat. If you offer them respect, they will go above and beyond to show you the same. I know for a fact they wouldn't be disrespectful unless they were treated rudely first, and that's valid. Customer service will depend on how you treat the workers. I digress. The food is amazing. Lobster ravioli actually tastes like lobster. I haven't had a sauce I disliked. House dressing is top notch, and I even love dipping my bread in it. Customers need to stop assuming that workers have to be friendly to unfriendly guests. So if you want great, and a plethora of ,food come here. Just be polite and friendly and you will have no regrets. P.S. We love you, Joe's!
