Pho in the Box — Restaurant in Keller

This restaurant is not far from my home, I used to go there often before CV-19, it used to be pretty good! But now that the restaurant has a new owner, the food is not as good as before! The current price displayed on the menu does not match the actual price! The menu of shrimp spring rolls and chicken spring rolls showed that the price was $4.5, but at checkout it was $6.5 each. I bought two to go, and was charged $15.4, and was asked to automatically add an 18% tip! I didn't give it! So because I didn't leave a tip, the spring roll they gave me had almost only stale lettuce! The shrimp and chicken are intentionally cut into paper-thin pieces and covered on top! And I started to have a stomachache after eating a spring roll. I suspected that they deliberately put some expired stuff in the spring roll for me... I have a photo for everyone to see... There was a hard white strip inside the spring roll. I wouldn't care if it was just expensive, but I found that if this restaurant has bad business ethics, its business will...

I decided to give this restaurant a try and placed my first delivery order. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the vermicelli with grilled pork, shrimp, and an egg roll. Both dishes were tasty and well-prepared. The vermicelli portion was generous, and everything was packed with care and thoughtfulness. The only disappointment was the fish sauce—it lacked depth and flavor.

Unfortunately, my second delivery experience was less satisfying. I ordered the pho beef combo, which came with plenty of noodles but very little meat. There were only two slices of beef, about four pieces of meatball, and a couple bits of other cuts. For nearly $17, I expected a more substantial portion of meat. The packaging was convenient, and the broth was decent, though nothing exceptional. They did include a free sample of 1 crab rangoon, which was a nice touch.

Overall, I’ll continue to order from here when I’m craving basic Vietnamese dishes. Just keep in mind that some items may vary in quality or...

Customer service is literally What customer service should be at this restaurant they’re so kind, professional clean, gentle and you can definitely tell they appreciate new customers and they’re returning customers! It’s been a hot minute since I felt this welcomed into a new restaurant, It was a cold night and the sweet lady offered me warm water with lemon… THAT TOUCHED MY HEART! And I will definitely be back to bring repeat business here And I will be spreading the word everywhere I go about this place! The food is very good. I had the shrimp pho with vegetable broth. I do like a broth that has a little bit more substance to it a few more spices for original flavor and maybe just a little bit thicker!
