Charlotte's Restaurant — Restaurant in Kenai

I cannot recommend the butternut squash soup, sadly... But the beef, swiss and 'shroom melt sandwich was the best thing I'd eaten all month. Well, the best until she tempted me with their gorgeous desert tray (all from scratch, made in-house fresh)! Russian cream with raspberries was sooooo yummy! (And the key lime pie I couldnt resist getting a piece of to go tasted just like my family's recipe... To die for, seriously!) I was recommended Charlotte's by the guys working at Grant Aviation (in the Kenai airport about a mile's walk from this cafe) and I couldnt be more grateful to them for their suggestion. Too bad I live in Sitka (not Kenai) cuz I'd go to Charlotte's often if I were local. PS- to be honest, my meal w the deserts and a cup of drip coffee did come to $40 and I was eating solo. I get it that food, etc. all cost exponentially more up here in AK (as compared to the lower 48) so I'm cool with the tab, but depending on your finances, you might not be (so here's a head's up before you go and find you dont wanna spend that much, y'know?) Thanx Charlotte's- after weeks spent living on-site at a fish processing plant, your great grub was an absolute godsend! Keep serving up kick as food and PLEASE dont go out of business before I get a chance to come back to Kenai to visit you...

I took my momma here for Mother's Day breakfast as part of my mother's day gift because she attends kenai church of God kenai. The waitress and staff was outstanding the food was excellent and my momma being a customer for years has a close relationship with the owner who came by to greet us. We enjoyed each other's company especially when we asked to sit on the opposite side of loud chats. 😀 Everything on Friday morning went very smoothly as every other time we went to eat breakfast I usually get the sweet crepes and red bull special Which is my favorite but this time I loved eating steak and mushrooms for breakfast and red bull special it was an awesome day to follow after visiting and eating with my momma at our favorite spot for breakfast. Thank you Charlotte's restaurant for always making us feel welcome and part of your family. I love this restaurant along with my momma they are very attentive with the way they run I suggest you try it out yummiest breakfast or lunch healthy for anyone. HAPPY...

In the heart of Kenai, Charlotte's Restaurant has a long-established presence. Comfort food describes much of their menu with soups, chili, wraps, bread, and desserts made on-site. Unlike much of the cafe world with minimal options, the menu is broad. The local artwork is additive to our community. The friendly staff welcomes all with smiles and a warm hello. Soups and chili by the bowl or cup are comfort foods to my palate, and they change frequently during the week. There is one wrap a week from beef to chicken and robustly spicy to delicious comfort of all - chicken noodle soup. Salads are made in-house a medium and large size for the hearty appetite. Sandwiches are made with beef, pork, turkey, and chicken on in-house made buns. The range of desserts is impressive, and I love the carrot cake.
