I like the Taro smoothie and I like the tapioca boba, it’s truly chewy. Customer service isn’t there though. I got confused when I saw “brown sugar jelly” and thought it was tapioca boba. I did correct myself but I said “Classic boba,” instead of saying “tapioca.” When I came back and explained the situation, the manager scolded me as though I was a student at the principal’s office. He reluctantly made me another taro smoothie, and repeated like five times “but I’m paying for it,” like guilt-tripping me. Yes, I know the restaurant takes the blow when they re-do orders, but the whole point is to create a loyal customer base. Then, when he brought my drink I fully planned on leaving the previous order so that he’d see that I wasn’t trying to get two drinks for the price of one, but as I was placing the cup on the counter, he barks at me “give me the first drink.” HORRIBLE treatment. And he knows I’m a mom, I’ve been there with all my kids before.
I regularly order for my older kiddos, plus me so that’s FIVE orders at once. Had he politely explained the differences in names of the brown sugar jelly / tapioca boba and had he graciously agreed to redo my order, he would have forever won me over as a loyal customer. Instead I walked away feeling awful, regretted having come at all. And I have a lot of friends and I spread the word. Instead, I’ll be thinking twice before returning to a place where I’m treated like a nuisance just because I accidentally confused brown sugar jelly with tapioca boba (never mind the fact that everyone knows “classic boba” is the tapioca one).
To the manager who treated me thus: understand this, sir— to the one who shows mercy, mercy is given. The one who sows kindness, reaps blessings. I hope you change your mind about how you treat your customers when they make an error. I get that some people might want to take advantage, but keeping your loyal customers happy is always a better route than...
Read moreThe drinks are fine but horrible customer service. This was my first time there and I definitely won’t go back. My son is 5 and has never had Boba before. I didn’t want to waste money on something he may not like, so I asked for the boba pearls on the side. I was told no. I had to argue to explain I didn’t want my son to throw up because he didn't like it since he hasn’t had it before. So they gave him a sample in a spoon. At least they did that but I shouldn’t have to argue to be accommodated . Secondly, I wanted to share the drink but my son was sick. I asked if I could have a little cup on the side. I was told no. I had to pay for my own drink. I asked could I please just have a cup for water and was told no?! of all the places I’ve gone I have never been treated so rudely before. I don’t understand how a company can lack such customer service. I have been a waitress before and would go above and beyond for my customers. This was just unacceptable. The smoothie tasted good. Read moreWe loved the place. It was not only the tasty and interesting drinks but also the girl who helped us to chose cause it was our first time trying the bubble tea. So thanks to her, she explained the "system", pretty much what the bubble tea is, when all this stuff ia written on the wall even with pics :D such patience :) many wud just get pissed to repeat it to everyone who comes in. :p Anyway, after talking, discussing we took honeydew with yogurt POP boba and taro (never trtrie this one before) with yogurt pop balls as well. It was very nice and not sugar-crazy that you need water afterwards :)) Tables and chairs are plastic but thats not this bad light plastic what u cant even sit on. This one is comfortable anf able is stable what is a plus. Place is very clean, service is the top, very tasty and the place looks very nice. Prices as the choices of tastes and bobas/jelly you cud see at menu i have downloaded to pics :) I ll be returning here for sure. And i definately recommend exactly this place. Very light and nice...
