Miss Tea — Restaurant in Kendall

Unfortunately, it was my first time here and also my last. The vibes of the two people working behind the counter were literally on the floor. Extremely uninviting demeanor, they didn’t even look at us, even though they shouted ‘welcome’ when we walked in, we stood at the counter and weren’t acknowledged until we had to call for there attention after waiting for a while, we were the only people standing directly in front of them at the counter. Instead of acknowledging us, they were talking right through us to the people behind us. A simple ‘I’ll be right with you’ would’ve sufficed instead of acting like we didn’t exist. I can usually get past bad customer service if the drinks are good, but my taro tea was undrinkable. I’ve been to a lot of boba places and this has been the worst one by far. Everything is very cute and covered in the Miss Tea logo, but it couldn’t make up for how disgusting my tea was. I actually had to throw it away, and I LOVE boba! Left me so sad! The tapioca balls were inconsistently cooked, most of them were hard. The drink didn’t even taste like taro, it just tasted like a big cup of weird milk. Taro is an entry level flavor that is simple to make and is one of the most popular. The quality of the ingredients seems to be very low compared to other boba places in the area. I will not...

Well first of all I hate to even write this because I have been coming to the store for a while and it’s always been wonderful. Alexis, Cathy and the girl with the piercings (don’t know her name) have always treated me and my family really nice and super friendly. Today I walked in the early afternoon and i got greeted me with a faint welcome. I’m looking at the menu and I go to order on the self check out and a girl tells me in broken English that she can take my order I tell her ok, I could barely understand her English and she was speaking super low. Then she takes my order while being on her phone the other girl with a black hat makes my drink and leaves it in the counter and goes directly to her phone. Just super rude the both of them. I get my usual taro milk tea and it’s never tasted so grainy and you can taste the clumps of powder in the drink. I honestly wouldn’t come back just from that experience. They felt like mean girls whispering in their foreign language and looking at us with such a rude face like they were...

The best boba I’ve had in a while!! Went in and ordered the strawberry fresh milk boba part of the fresh milk series in a large with tapioca pearls, 50% ice and 100% sugar. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and she told me the drink already comes with crystal jelly. I wasn’t sure what that was so she gave me a little sample to try before she made my drink. I had a sip of my drink and oh my god, it was sooooo good. It had the tapioca and jelly in the bottom, fresh cut strawberries with the strawberry drink in the middle, and the fresh cool milk on top. When I say this is the smoothest, lightest, most delicious boba I’ve had, I mean it! I finished my drink before I even got home and I live 5 mins a ways from the shop. I’ve had several boba from other shops where it’s tasted good but either made me feel bloated or sick cause of the tapioca.
